You will end up "short-less" By Rex from Loomis, CA on 07/13/2009 Pros: Breathable, Comfortable, Dries Quickly, High-Quality Material and Stitching, Lightweight Describe Yourself: Casual Adventurer Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: Like a previous reviewer warned, and I didn't listen the waist doesn't pull snug enough for swimming or water sports. Too bad because these are good looking shorts, feel good, look like they would wear good. But as "board shorts" you can't snug the waist and they will probably fall off the first time you get out of the water.
By Garrett from Calgary on 06/25/2009 Pros: Breathable, Dries Quickly, Lightweight Cons: Bulky, Irregular Fit Best Uses: Camping, Casual Wear Describe Yourself: Casual Adventurer Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: The waist is really big and the whole short is quite wide. Order a size smaller.

Nice short but needs a drawstring By kickstand from New England on 06/10/2009 Pros: Breathable, Comfortable, Dries Quickly, High-Quality Material and Stitching Cons: Irregular Fit, No drawstring Describe Yourself: Casual Adventurer Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: I like the material and the green color, and the cut. However, there's no drawstring, so you can't pull the shorts tight enough. The tie in the front is not particularly secure; the pants fit well but they are just too loose for water activity. Add a drawstring to this, and it would be a great short. No drawstring, and it fails as a water short.
By Tori from Chicago on 06/09/2009 Pros: Breathable, Comfortable, Dries Quickly, High-Quality Material and Stitching, Lightweight Describe Yourself: Casual Adventurer Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: i think the product is good if you are a muscular and bulky guy around your thigh. I usually wear size L but I am skinny and it leaves too much room. I thoguht I might keep it, but my wife said "Return!". Looks like material itself is of high quality.
No back pocket, just plain board shorts By Scioto Surfer from Dublin, Ohio on 06/01/2009 Describe Yourself: Avid Adventurer Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: The description of this product says "back zip pocket" but there is none. There is no back pocket at all. The side pocket is small and does not close well. This makes these useless as shorts as there is no pocket room for keys, wallet, at cell phone. As swim trunks, they should be fine, but that is it. I was disappointed as the description made these sound like excellent shorts with a "board short" style waist. Actually, they are just plain board shorts.
