My favorite hiking socks... By MontanaDJ from Missoula, MT on 04/17/2009 Pros: Breathable, Cushioned, Durable Best Uses: Backcountry, Hiking, Winter wear Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational Sizing: Feels true to size Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: The best fitting cushioned hiking sock I've found. I have small feet & this sock in XS fits my foot & doesn't bunch up when I put on my hiking boots. It wears well, is warm enough for winter activities, but with cool max and merino wool, it's great for summer hiking & backpacking too. With these socks, I don't need a liners most of the time.

I have bad feet an bad ankles and I need for my feet to feel comfortable. I also use them in my riding boots and they have been very comfortable and fairly warm for winter riding in a non- insulated riding boot. Not to bulky and good cushion.
