It is stiff and has odor after one day's hiking. Not as good as the summit series of bridgedale.

My favorite hiking socks...
By MontanaDJ from Missoula, MT on 04/17/2009
Pros:

Best Uses:

Describe Yourself:

Sizing:

Comments:
The best fitting cushioned hiking sock I've found. I have small feet & this sock in XS fits my foot & doesn't bunch up when I put on my hiking boots. It wears well, is warm enough for winter activities, but with cool max and merino wool, it's great for summer hiking & backpacking too. With these socks, I don't need a liners most of the time.

some of the most comfortable socks I've ever worn, as are many I just bought. My old wool socks were wearing thin after years of wear! Sock design has changed!! These are fab!

Pros:
Breathable, Dries Quickly, Insulating
Describe Yourself:

Comments:
I use these socks as my everyday hiking socks. I have bad feet an bad ankles and I need for my feet to feel comfortable. I also use them in my riding boots and they have been very comfortable and fairly warm for winter riding in a non- insulated riding boot. Not to bulky and good cushion.

My husband wanted me to try this brand Bridgedale, I'm a Smartwool snob. I wear small and this sock isn't snug as I like. I will still wear them, they will just not be my first pick.
