Because they are not only good for winter sports, but they are a wonderful all around day sock as well. I bought 2 pair, one for me and one for my daughter, and although we keep getting them mixed up, we are completely loving them. I wear them all the time.

These are great for skiing, but also just under your boots in the winter. The padding is comfortable no matter what you are doing or what shoe or boot you are wearing. Thye never itch and wash just fine as long as you remember to turn them inside out.

They stayed put, provided lots of cushion and wicked away moisture preventing blisters. They breathe well keeping me warm when it's cold and cool when it's hot.
