By Earth Walker from North Vancouver, BC, Canada on 01/28/2009 Cons: Poor Quality Control Describe Yourself: Bargain Shopper, Casual Sizing: Feels true to size Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I got a pair of Keen Winterport boot so I was looking for a pair of long socks to prevent chafting. Luckily STP had this model of sock on sale so I bought a bunch however the quality was not consistent from a pair to another. I knew this product was declared as seconds by STP but the defect on some of them was really not acceptable so I had to sort thru all of them and return the one that are obviously defective. The remaining seemed to serve my purpose well. I especially like the plush padding at the bottom of the sock.

When I put on first time i thought my toe was going through it. It's very thin and cheap. Other socks I've purchased from you were great. These are poo. I appreciate the other good bargains I've gotten before.
Thanks
Knitting flaws = poor quality By FunChefChick from Kirkland, WA on 12/18/2008 Describe Yourself: Casual, Outdoorsy Sizing: Feels true to size Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: I bought 3 pairs of these socks. Right out of the package one sock had a knitting flaw that caused a hole in the sock; sock not salvagable. I wore and washed one pair, and after 1 turn through the washer and dryer another sock pulled a thread and caused a hole.
So far I have a 30% failure rate on these socks upon initial use. This "2nds" item is no bargain!
