By Artful lodger from Oyster, Virginia on 11/05/2009 Best Uses: Around The House Sizing: Feels true to size Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: Although these socks had good reviews, I am less than thrilled with them--they bunch up in my shoes and don't stay up. For the price I do not think they live up to their good name.
Great winter socks. Comfortable and warm By NY Kate from New York, NY on 11/04/2009 Describe Yourself: Athletic, Bargain Shopper Sizing: Feels true to size Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I love finding bargains on socks that actually work for me. These are warm, they are knee high, so I will wear them under jeans for regular days in winter.
By Cold Feet Carole from Northeast US on 10/22/2009 Describe Yourself: Bargain Shopper Sizing: Feels true to size Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I don't mind seconds, and three pairs out of the four I ordered are great. They have enough thickness to keep my feet warm, and the bottom of the sock has extra yarn loops which both insulate and cushion my feet. The fourth pair has one reject sock that should not have made it into the 2nds bin because it can't get much past my ankle. The weave is irregular and way too tight. I don't mind wearing it when I want a pair of low-riding socks with good insulation for the feet. And I appreciate the wool in the socks.

By ToShop from Calgary, AB on 10/17/2009 Pros: Attractive Design, Comfortable, Durable, Soft Best Uses: Around The House, Athletics Sizing: Feels true to size Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: These feel very thick and soft, but I didn't try them on because I hadn't noticed on the description (although it was there) of how long these socks are! They will go past my knees, which is too high for me so I am returning them. In my hands though, they feel nice and plush. If you want longer socks, I would recommend them.

By cardenorr from Chagrin Falls, OH on 10/14/2009 Best Uses: Daily Use, Office, Travel Describe Yourself: Bargain Shopper, Career, Casual, High End Sizing: Feels true to size Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: I can't comment on the durability. Another brand I bought at the same time were much more comfortable so I exchanged these for those. However I have purchased Bridgedale socks previously and been very pleased with them. I am also, perhaps more than most, finicky about scratchiness in socks
By Sefuthus from Chicago, IL on 09/18/2009 Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: The socks sent to me were not the ones pictured on the site. They were much longer and have a second type of elastic material at the top of the sock (around the calf) that's about 4 inches long. You'll notice that is not the case in the pic of the sock on the site.
