By lja from boston on 07/27/2009 Describe Yourself: Casual Dresser Comfort vs Style: Comfort Driven Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: WAY TOO SMALL!!!
Very small dress, seemed more like a small petite than a medium, very disappointed as is a cute dress.
the other reviews are right on By shopgirl from Anchorage, AK on 07/06/2009 Pros: Comfortable, Nice Color Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Even after reading all the reviews, I went ahead and ordered this dress. Most reviews stated it hugs curves and I would go as far as to say it defines them. In my case not a plus. If the cut had just a bit more material making it slightly Aline, it would fit many more body types. It is so cute and would have looked great prior to my having kids. I need to hit the gym or pass it on to one of my younger, skinny girlfriends. The top has good support if you're smaller chested like I am. I'm 5'6, about 130 pounds, and usually wear between a 6 or 8. If you have hips or a large bum this dress will not be flattering below the waist. If you're a skinny gal- go for it! All others, buyer beware.
By Beth from Portland OR on 06/28/2009 Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: I ordered this in XL and returned it. The crossed straps in the back pulled the material together and made the fabric in the middle of the back pouch out (multiple inches). So I ordered it in a L, thinking this would solve the problem, but it was the same (only less pronounced).
So, it fits in the front, and provides nice support, but is weird in the back. I don't dare order a smaller size because it fits like a swimsuit at the waist, and if it were any tighter...well that's too much information for the world to see.
Maybe if you are really thin through the waist, with tight abs...
very comfortable, but hip-hugging. By Lolle from Saint Louis on 06/02/2009 Pros: Attractive Design, Comfortable, Nice Color, Nice Fabric, Versatile Cons: In hip area only, Poor Fit Describe Yourself: Casual Dresser Comfort vs Style: Comfort Driven Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Though I kept the dress, I did have it slightly altered so the dress did not hug my hips. I am small boned and thin so the fact that the dress fit in the upper torso and waist and not the hips was a mild disappointment.
By Sometime Outdoorsy Girl from Roanoke, VA on 06/01/2009 Pros: Attractive Design, Comfortable, Nice Color, Versatile Best Uses: Casual Wear, Night Out Describe Yourself: Trendy/Stylish Dresser Comfort vs Style: Style Driven Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I really liked this dress and still can't decide if I want to keep it or not. Nice color, versatile, packable, very sexy. But REALLY clingy, and I don't usually shy away from that sort of thing. But there's no room for wearing anything underneath without undie- or thong-lines showing. If you are exceedingly fit, go for it--it shows every curve!
By mtgoats from montana on 05/20/2009 Pros: Comfortable, Nice Fabric Describe Yourself: Casual Dresser Comfort vs Style: Comfort Driven Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: I bought a medium, which usually fits well or loosely on me and it was skin tight!
By Outdoor woman from Grand Rapids, MI on 05/13/2009 Pros: Attractive Design, Nice Color, Nice Fabric, Versatile Cons: Disproportionate, Poor Fit Describe Yourself: Casual Dresser Comfort vs Style: Comfort Driven Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: This is a cute and well-made dress for 1)the young, 2)the skinny, 3)the very small-chested. I have three daughters with those qualifications, and it only fit one of them...and she needed a size bigger than usual.
By kimswim from Colorado Springs on 04/28/2009 Pros: Attractive Design, Comfortable, Nice Fabric Describe Yourself: Casual Dresser Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: Seemed to run a little small. Plus the cut around the bust was not flattering.
Gorgeous, sexy, functional! By TRIGAL from Midwest on 04/26/2009 Pros: Attractive Design, Comfortable, Flattering, Nice Color, Nice Fabric, Versatile Best Uses: Casual Wear, Wear To Work Describe Yourself: Casual Dresser Comfort vs Style: Comfort Driven Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Great dress; high quality! I planned on using this for "after workouts" but I think it's more functional for dinners out, "active" outings, and plain looking great! I love this product!
