I can always rely on Asics comfort. By JKPT from Los Angeles on 04/12/2009 Pros: Absorbs Shock, Attractive Design, Comfortable, Durable, Flexible, Lightweight Best Uses: Everyday wear, Running, Walking Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational Sizing: Feels half size too small Width: Feels true to width Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Having bought several brands of tennis shoes over the years, I always end up back to Asics. I marked they run small, but I've always known to buy mine in a 7 even though I can get most other shoes in 6.5. They are always comfortable from the first step and last a long time. This yellow color is cheerful and great for dirt trails or long days on your feet at work. As a physical therapist I want comfort as well as style. Gotta practice what I preach!
By ew893 from Newton, MA on 03/24/2009 Pros: Absorbs Shock, Durable Cons: Causes Blisters, Uncomfortable Describe Yourself: Gym Rat Sizing: Feels half size too small Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: I love Asics. They are the only sneakers I buy, but these feel like they strangle your feet. Additionally, I have tried them on two different occasions, allowing for healing time, and both times my ankles got blisters! They are heavier than typical Asics, and I was hoping to use them to run outdoors, but they are too uncomfortable.
By Green from Colorado on 03/23/2009 Pros: Absorbs Shock, Comfortable, Durable, Flexible, Lightweight Best Uses: Endurance Training, Everyday wear, Pavement, Running, Walking Describe Yourself: Competitive Athlete Sizing: Feels true to size Width: Feels true to width Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I got a 1/2 size up per the reviews. I had to return for my normal size. I think these run true to size! I wear a 6 1/2. The 7 was so sloppy. Asics are my fave athletic shoe and these are no exception.
Great shoe with roomier toebox. By Dreamboat Annie from Hummelstwon,PA on 03/19/2009 Pros: Absorbs Shock, Flexible, Lightweight Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational Sizing: Feels half size too small Width: Feels true to width Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I find them useful for smooth trail, mud, dirt roads. They do not grip well for rocky trail. Needs longer laces.
By TriMoms Rock from Valencia, CA on 03/08/2009 Pros: Absorbs Shock, Comfortable, Lightweight Best Uses: Endurance Training, Running Describe Yourself: Competitive Athlete Sizing: Feels true to size Width: Feels true to width Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I am really enjoying my "bumble bee" shoes. I was a little worried about the color, but I actually like it, especially when running at night. I went for a short walk with them before running and they were great out of the box. I ran 7 miles the first day I wore them. No problems at all. I think the color will look nicer over time too vs. white. I run on dirt and pavement and am training for a 1/2 Ironman and plan on wearing these shoes. I might have to buy another pair if they are still available. They do seem a little on the wide side but not too wide but comfortable.
By J from Atlanta, GA on 03/01/2009 Pros: Absorbs Shock, Attractive Design, Comfortable, Durable, Flexible Sizing: Feels true to size Width: Feels true to width Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: These are great running shoes. I wear them on the trail and on the roads. They have great traction for the trail and supports the foot wonderfully. I have ran in the trabuco's for 7 years and don't plan on running in anything but these. I have tried other shoes/brands in the past but realize that is silly, these work and I'll continue to purchase them. If you have lower arches these are great on or off the trail.
By Trail enthusiast from Ottawa, IL on 02/24/2009 Pros: Absorbs Shock, Attractive Design, Comfortable, Flexible, Lightweight Best Uses: Everyday wear, Pavement, Running Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational Sizing: Feels half size too small Width: Feels true to width Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I love this shoe and will now make this my one and only running shoe. I have also gotten many compliments on the design of them. I have only worn them for about a month so I cannot comment on the durability but everything else is an A+ in my book.
By dirtdiva from Idaho on 02/23/2009 Pros: Absorbs Shock, Comfortable, Flexible, Lightweight Describe Yourself: Competitive Athlete Sizing: Feels true to size Width: Feels true to width Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I ran in Montrails for years as trail shoes, which ended up wrecking my feet and legs. I have since switched to road shoes, which provide more cushion and flexibility. I tried Asics 2130 Trail, but they were not cushiony or flexible either. I have had my Trabucos for two weeks now, and I love them. Very cushiony, flexible, and stable. They do run slightly small but not enough for me to get a 1/2 size bigger.
