They are pretty comfortable. They seem to have more cusioning than the Asics walking shoes I had before. True the laces are very short but my foot is narrow and I can tie them alright. There is pleanty of room in the toes.

The trail running shoes tend to run a bit large, so I got a half size larger than my normal foot size.

By Mom who loves to lift weights from Carnation, Wa on 12/31/2008 Pros: Absorbs Shock, Attractive Design, Comfortable, Durable, Lightweight, Stable, Versatile Best Uses: Pavement, Treadmill, Walking Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational Sizing: Feels half size too small Width: Feels true to width Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I just rec'd these and used them for the first time yesterday. I'm not a runner, but I do walk 2-3 miles per day. These were soooo comfortable, even the first time using them. They seem to be very well made and are attractive too (not boring white). I always use Asics and love them. I bought them 1/2 size too big based on other reviews and they fit perfectly. Great shoe!

They have Great support and are comfortable all day. Will look for other colors as this pair doesn't match everything with the Yellow! But they are the local teams colors so that works.
By Colorado Running Mom from Colorado on 12/28/2008 Pros: Comfortable, Lightweight Describe Yourself: Gym Rat Sizing: Feels true to size Width: Feels true to width Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Like all Asics I have for running these were comfortable right out of the box. However, the super short laces make it next to impossible to tie them without squishing my feet.

They are very cushy and comfortable enough to go from road to trail and back.
