He was very excited to find these, and even more so that they fit so well.

By Jim the Runner from Durham, NC on 03/17/2009 Pros: Comfortable, Great Traction, Stable Describe Yourself: Casual Adventurer Sizing: Feels half size too small Width: Feels true to width Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Ordered up a half-size, as suggested, and they fit great. These are the best shoes I've had in a while, so much so I wear them everyday.

By Quetzal from Connecticut on 03/16/2009 Pros: Comfortable, Durable, Stable, Water Resistant Best Uses: Backcountry, Cold weather, Day hikes, Everyday, Wet Weather Describe Yourself: Avid Adventurer Sizing: Feels true to size Width: Feels true to width Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I wore these trail running shoes to do some pretty tough hikes in the muddy tropical rainforests of Panama and they were excellent. Some hiking was even during heaving downpours, and the shoes dried out pretty quickly despite the humidity. On mossy rocks or wet wood they can be a little slippery, so perhaps the traction isn't outstanding, but overall I was very impressed with how well they dealt with the elements. Another plus, related no doubt to the fact that they are running shoes, is how light they feel on your feet. Asics has been my running shoe of choice for years now, so I am accustomed to the fit, but I noticed some buyers marked the shoe as feeling a half size smaller and so on. I am technically a woman's size 11 with a medium width but have been very satisfied for years with Asics men's size 9.5, and the same held true for this trail running shoe.

Definitely a Summer shoe as your toes get a little chilled in the cold.
By fuglycasanova from phoenix, az on 03/09/2009 Best Uses: Backcountry, Day hikes, Everyday Describe Yourself: Avid Adventurer Sizing: Feels true to size Width: Feels true to width Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Just started wearing these, my first pair of asics trail runners. Stable, lightweight, good traction are all part of this shoe. We'll see about durability, but these are great, so far, for hiking in the SW, which I do on a daily basis.
FUN color but poor fit for my feet! By Timo from Manitou Springs, CO on 03/07/2009 Pros: Durable, Great Traction, Water Resistant Best Uses: Backcountry, Day hikes, Everyday Describe Yourself: Avid Adventurer Sizing: Feels true to size Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Over the past several years, I have run often in Asics, and most currently in New Balance shoes. This pair of Asics has an uncomfortable width design resulting in an insecure feeling in lacing the shoes. I will go back to NB. I would recommend these for someone with a flair for color and perhaps really narrow feet!
