By Timberwolf from Asheville on 06/27/2008 Pros: Comfortable, Durable, Great Traction, Non-slip sole, Stable Best Uses: Backcountry, Day hikes, Everyday Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational Sizing: Feels half size too small Width: Feels true to width Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Lace system is very stiff to manipulate due to slide piece, but ok once you become familiar. Squeaky sound evident with every step. Otherwise, shoe seems durable, comfortable, and fits a narrow foot well.

Absolutely Wonderful Shoes!!!! By Mar from Mountains of AZ on 05/17/2008 Pros: Comfortable, Durable, Great Traction, Non-slip sole, Stable Best Uses: Backcountry, Day hikes, Everyday Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational Sizing: Feels true to size Width: Feels true to width Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I bought these for my husband and he loves them. In the past he always wore Merrell Hiking Boots, now he has not put on boots since he got these. They are comfortable from day one. We have very rocky terrain and these shoes are like walking barefoot but with cushions on the bottom of your feet. Very lightweight. Support is great except he misses the ankle support of the boots. He uses them for every day wear not running. Color is funky but oh well! Great shoe with a great price.
By Big Daddy from J Town on 05/15/2008 Pros: Comfortable, Durable, Great Traction, Non-slip sole, Stable Cons: Build a better Speed lace Best Uses: Backcountry, Day hikes, Everyday Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational Sizing: Feels half size too small Width: Feels true to width Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: This is a very good shoe for all terrains. Excellent sole and foot bed for a light weight shoe. The shoe would have rated better if Merrell had a decent Speed Lace System!
