Comments: Unfourtunally I'v got blister prone feet, and theese shoes did not make my first hike any less blister free than other "first time used shoes" (doesent happend often thoug, that I escape blisters the first time). But theese are my third pair of Merrell shoes, and all in all I love them all, and wear them all thin, but that takes years.

Comments: I bought these to be worn pretty much daily in our cold, snowy/wet weather. They are perfect! They are nice and warm, repell water and slush and snow, and look "everyday" enough to wear out to the store or on a walk with the kids. Comfortable right out of the box. I think I had them on for one day to break them in, but my feet never hurt at all, just maybe a little stiff that first day. The only drawback is that I have to spend a few seconds lacing them up, but I wanted taller shoes to stay out of the slush and mud. Yahoo!

Comments: A hiking boot should be affordable to all. If one can afford [$] for a good boot that's fine but most of us can't swing that. So what I'm saying is I've found a boot thats affordable and comfortable and most of all usuable! I have an old pair of Merrells that have lots of miles on them and still going strong. Many more miles left on them.
