Describe Yourself:

Bottom Line:

Comments:
So far I have been wearing the shoes only around the house, but they have been very comfy from the start. Good support, not too heavy and they don't bind anywhere. I don't know if I would wear them climbing mountains ( which I have no intention of doing), but I think they would be comfy enough to wear all day doing yardwork. Waterproof, I don't know, have not tried it. I rated it 4 stars because they have not gotten the "full workout" yet. But, as of now, I would recommend these boots.

Comments:
The Vibram sole offers a soft landing. It's also designed perfectly for a woman who has a little hip (woman tend to land, roll the foot inward, then toe off). It took one hike to break the ankle in and a bit more for the toe area. I would recommend wearing a mid-calf hiking sock, for cushion and wicking. This boot is a real bargin for the $.

We are very pleased with these boots that we purchased for my daughter to use during a wilderness church camp. She reports that they are already very comfortable and she looks forward to using them next week during camp. The boots were a great value and look great, to boot!

I ordered these boots for our big go west adventure for this summer. I took the boots out of the box and they were instantly comfortable. I camped this weekend and hiked through shallow water and wet grass and my feet did not get wet. My first pair of Merrels--I am a new fan!

I am a daily walker and also state park hiker. This is just a wonderful boot. Put it on, and just go. I use orthodics and barely need them with this shoe, but there is room to put one in with the removable insole. It is lightweight, great traction, and a good fit in the heel. This is my 3rd pair of Merrells and have found each pair to wear a long time.

Within 2 hours of wear, these felt as comfortable as the Merrell boots I'd just retired aft 5 years of use. They have adequate ankle support, and they are waterproof, or at least Oregon-mudproof!
