Haglofs LIM Ultimate shell gore tex By mike from Pittsburgh area on 04/09/2009 Describe Yourself: Casual Adventurer Chest Size: Feels too small Sleeve Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I did not try this item in the elements. It was a snug fitting jacket. I am slender and 6'6" tall with 36-37 sleeve length. The sleeves fit well. But they were not sufficiently large to layer underneath easily. I think I would have kept it if I had ordered 3xl, if they even make one. I did like the jacket and it seemed to be made well. But it was just to snug.
Way Too Small, Must Be Mislabeled By Bargain Hunter from Massachusetts on 03/13/2009 Pros: Lightweight, Waterproof Best Uses: Casual Wear, Hiking and Camping, Weight Restricted Travel, Wet Weather Describe Yourself: Casual Adventurer Chest Size: Feels too small Sleeve Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: I bought a XXL and found the product was no larger than a Large at best, so I had to return it. It must have been mislabeled. Also, this product has a left sided zipper and not a right sided zipper as is standard in men's jackets in the US.

By Ephblum from Amherst, NY on 01/22/2009 Pros: Breathable, Comfortable, Durable, Lightweight, Stylish Best Uses: Casual Wear, Hiking and Camping, Wet Weather Describe Yourself: Avid Adventurer Chest Size: Feels true to size Sleeve Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I had been looking at an Arc'teryx Alpha SL but saw this one as a great deal. Haglofs is one brand that is about on par with Arc'teryx in terms of durability, fabrics, cut/fit, design, etc. The LIM Ultimate is super light, actually lighter than the Alpha SL. It has minimalist features to save on weight-which is what I was looking for-such as only one pocket that is still waterproof zipped, no velcro cinches at the sleeves, and even the cinches for the hood are not encased in material to save weight. Build quality is very nice and the yellow color while not my first choice is high visibilty and works fine at this price. I like it so much that I may add a Gore-Tex Pro Shell by Haglofs in the future to replace my aging TNF Kitchatna.
