By Hayamaria from Japan on 03/09/2010 Pros: Breathable, Comfortable, Stylish, Warm, Waterproof Cons: Bad Zippers, Badly designed sleeves Best Uses: Hiking, Running, Trail Running, Wet Weather Describe Yourself: Avid Athlete Sleeve Length: Feels too short Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I use this product when running road and trail, mountains when wet cold weather. Keeps me very dry and warm, and ventilation is suprisingly very good! Very comfortable.
The sleeves are a bit short and barely covers wrists, and there is no hood so water will seek in from neck when pouring rain.
Looking forward to spring skiing. By Atheletic Librarian from Chicago, IL on 02/24/2010 Pros: Breathable, Comfortable, Lightweight, Stylish, Warm, Windproof Best Uses: Casual Wear, Cold Weather, Cycling, Hiking, Running Describe Yourself: Avid Athlete Sleeve Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Looking forward to outdoor exercise and wearing around town on weekends. I am a size 6 but very busty (32DDD) - ordered the 8 and returned for the 10 because wanted more room in the chest (8 was just a little too snug with chest - though waist was right on.)
By Bake from Pittsburgh PA on 02/12/2010 Pros: Comfortable, Good Weight Best Uses: Casual Wear, Sports, Wet Weather Describe Yourself: Avid Athlete Sleeve Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Could never afford this name brand before.Love it! little tight in the bust though I'm ampule in that area.Craftsmanship in perfect. It's water and wind resistant exceptionally so.Not for colder weather would layer and would work perfectly. Will purchase this brand again no question.
By B the runner from Tennessee & North Carolina on 01/07/2010 Pros: 4way stretch fabric great, Breathable, Comfortable, Does its intended job, Easy to move in, Flattering to female body, Good Weight, Lots Of Pockets, Shows my waist line, Stylish, Warm, Weighs almost nothing, Wicking inner lining Best Uses: Casual Wear, Coat for all seasons, Daily winter coat, Extreme Conditions, Extreme with base layer, Sports, Wet Weather Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational Sleeve Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: What a great & suprising fit this is. It feels somewhat snug, then you realize the 4 way stretch fabric lets you move any direction & way you choose comfortably without restriction. I ordered my correct size, zipped it up to feel snug & thought I would have no further room for fleece under. I tried my zip fleece that is not so snug with somewhat bulky middle & sleeves, it still fit great & zipped easily. I LOVE this jacket. I may never wear another. It meets any use/needs, cold, wet, snow, daily wear, outdoor hiking, etc... It does not look manly, it has a nice flattering female silhouette, even with my bulky fleece under, I still had a waist & looked like a girl. Yea! It weighs almost nothing & could be packed easily anywhere without taking up space. It has nice cuffs that secure out the elements, sleeve length was perfect, drawstring pulls on the inner bottom if you need them. Buy this jacket, you will not be sorry.
Great product, but runs small By KB from Appleton, WI on 12/17/2009 Pros: Comfortable, Good Weight, Stylish Best Uses: Sports, Wet Weather Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational Sleeve Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Great product - my first experience with Haglofs gear, and the detail and quality of this product is excellent. Jacket was perfect, except ran small (1-2 sizes). Nice softshell with feminine cut. Unfortunately, didn't get to test snowboarding in the elements, so can't comment on warmth/performance.
EXCELLENT deal! Use it all the time! By Petersen from Montreal on 12/01/2009 Pros: Breathable, Comfortable, Good Weight, Stylish, Warm Best Uses: Casual Wear, Extreme Conditions, Skiing, Sports Describe Yourself: Conditioning Exerciser Sleeve Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: This jacket is PERFECT for travelling/hiking, since it works well in so many weather conditions. I take it backpacking, hiking, skiing and generally when I have to be outside for more than an hour or two. With a good wool baselayer like Icebreaker, this can be used on sunny days on the slopes, with a fleece midlayer over the base it can be used in below zero temps. It has almost as good windproof abilities as my Gore Tex jacket, but with much more freedom of movement. I LOVE it!
Sizing: If you know your hagofs size, go for it. If not, its more tricky. I have an athleticly build body, somewhat broad shoulders (for a woman), long arms, somewhat busty and small hips, and I always struggle to find items that fit my shoulders, arms and bust but dont sag around the waist/hips. This is it. I am 5,7 and 142 lbs and the medium/38 fits me perfectly.
By Outdoor girl from Cascade mountains on 07/09/2009 Pros: Breathable, Comfortable, Good Weight Sleeve Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: This jacket is great from walking the dog to backcountry skiing.
By trainlikeafreakgina from Kentucky on 02/24/2009 Pros: Comfortable, Good Weight Describe Yourself: Frequent Exerciser Sleeve Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Wore this jacket x-country skiing, lightweight base layer underneath, about 28 degrees out and this combo was absolutely perfect. Great range of motion as well.
By Cindy from Redwood City, CA on 01/31/2009 Pros: Breathable, Comfortable, Good Weight Best Uses: Extreme Conditions, Sports Describe Yourself: Frequent Exerciser Sleeve Length: Feels too long Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: I am a size 8/M in most jackets, but this one was big on me. It is a technical jacket, so should not be as generous and baggy on me as it was. It is also on the pricey side for an unlined schoeller shell; there are others out there much cheaper than the[$] I think I paid that fit better!
By Sioux City Sue from Saratoga on 01/22/2009 Pros: Breathable, Comfortable, Good Weight, Stylish, Warm Best Uses: Casual Wear, Sports, Wet Weather Describe Yourself: Frequent Exerciser Sleeve Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Very well made, comfortable fit. It will be nice for spring downhill skiing, and general weather cross country skiing. Breathes well and I feel comfy when cross coountry skiing.
