Comments:
Originally, this jacket was in the $400+ price range. that's a pretty hefty tag for what this jacket contains. I am really fond of European tech outerwear. Almost always it is a "you get what you pay for" product. The Haglofs jacket is really close to obtaining this. Apparently the newer models of this same jacket offer more updated and credible technologies (like PowerShield or Schoeller water proof textiles). Overall, this jacket is great. The high collar is great for hiding behind during a chilly day and the fabric repels water well. It really is just a soft SHELL, though. A waterproof and flexible shell that is still lightweight and thin. The green is an excellent color and is rare among most outerwear, the fit is very sporty (when you get the correct size). I ordered about one size up. Normally, I'd wear a comfortable fitting Medium, but in this case, a Large.

Comments:
Great softshell. Fabric is flexible and breathes well with adequate wind and water resistance. Chest pockets and pit zips provide lots of ventilation. Hood is perfect for under helmets. Arms are long enough to articulate above head for swinging ice tools, etc. Good two-way zipper. Color is a great (almost offensive) "come rescue me"-green. Jacket provides decent warmth without being a pure insulating piece - but can be used for aerobic activity in the cold b/c of ventilation. Athletic fit - sized like UK garments. Absolutely great design. Only wish that napoleon pocket was on the outside - they're not nearly as useful when they are inside the main zipper. For the STP price, it's a good bargain...

Comments:
I wanted to get a nice looking softshell that can act both as a mid layer and a spring riding shell. After juggling between brands like: TNF, Mountain Hardwear, Arc'Teryx, Burton, and etc, I've decided to try haglofs. Flexable fabric that Haglofs has invented has amazing wind and water resistance capabilities. It also breathes well. It's definitely not the warmest piece of clothing but a thin micro fleece underneath would be fine. I was wearing a baselayer, a micro fleece long sleeve underneath this jacket and stood outside for 20 minutes when it was raining on 35 degree temperature and it was comfortable. I think it'll get really warm when I'm riding with a hardshell on top of this on the slopes. The jacket itself is very nice looking and it just looks very high quality. Casually wearing during fall and spring would be also nice.I ordered XXL[...] it isn't too bad, definitely size up if you want a loose fit.Overall, I don't know if people are willing to spend something like $450 on this jacket, but something around low $200, I think it's worth it.

Comments:
This jacket is super super super. I bought it for my husband and tried it on myself as well (I got a bit jealous of how nice it was :D) I stood outside in 30 degree weather in Chicago wearing this jacket and a t shirt underneath and felt perfectly fine. No wind , no chill, felt just fine. Really impressive for me. The color is a slight bit darker than the photo and the jacket looks great in person. My husband usually wears a medium (39 chest) but he ordered a size large. The size large fits him but since he is 6 ft tall and has a very long torso, he's going to try an xl also to see if that's a bit longer in the belly. Definitely European sizes and runs small... so if you're tall order a size up. I'm really thrilled with this brand and this jacket, with the discounts from STP it's a great deal.

Comments:
I am an avid weekend bicycle rider. This Jacket is very stylish with athletic cut. Sleeve is a bit too long for my arm but there is a velcro closure. My Large Marmot Jacket has room for layers. This XL jacket requires a thin and warm liner jacket for riding my racing bicycle at 32F with a very warm long thermal top agaisnt the wind. Buy a size larger as other reviewers have mentioned. Quality construction with attentions to details. Next to this jacket, my Gorebike Jacket looks very plain. I bought this Jacket out of curiosity about the Haglofs brand and so far I am very pleased with this purchase.

Does not fit most average american men. I'm 6'1, in shape, not a body builder and the XXL is still too small. Looks like a nice jacket otherwise.
