By tree hugger from bellingham, wa on 11/24/2008 Pros: Comfortable, Durable Best Uses: Casual Wear, Travel Describe Yourself: Comfort Driven Sizing: Feels half size too small Width: Feels true to width Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I wear a size 7; I ordered a size 7; they were at least a half-size too small. I think they would have been comfortable otherwise, but I sent them back without reordering.

They come with interchangeable arch inserts that cleverly fit inside the insole-very unique and sleek.
great shoes but run a little small By katydid from chicago on 11/11/2008 Pros: Comfortable, Durable, Versatile Best Uses: Casual Wear, Work Describe Yourself: Comfort Driven Sizing: Feels half size too small Width: Feels true to width Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I didn't keep them because I felt that they were a little small and wouldn't be comfortable with thicker socks

I found both in these shoes.
By birdy from Long Beach, CA on 11/08/2008 Pros: Breathes Well, Comfortable, Durable, Versatile Describe Yourself: Comfort Driven Sizing: Feels true to size Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: The only weirdness about the shoes is that the laces are a bit stiff. That isn't so important because if I was motivated, I could replace them. Otherwise they are cute and comfortable! I wore them on a rainy night in the Pacific NW and my socks stayed dry.
By Dog Lady from Chicago, IL on 11/08/2008 Describe Yourself: Comfort Driven Sizing: Feels true to size Width: Feels true to width Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: The best feature of this shoe is that you can select the arch support.
By Multi-tasking Suburban Mom from Lexington, MA on 11/07/2008 Pros: Breathes Well, Comfortable, Durable Describe Yourself: Comfort Driven Sizing: Feels true to size Width: Feels true to width Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: These are very comfortable, supportive, everyday shoes. The sporty look is rather casual, but noone has bothered me about wearing mine to work with a pantsuit, sometimes. I usually buy comfort brands. I like the youthful attitude of these shoes
By Leeski from Forestville, CA on 11/07/2008 Describe Yourself: Comfort Driven Sizing: Feels half size too small Width: Feels true to width Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I bought these for every day "kick around" shoes. I like the look and they are comfortable but would probably be perfect if I'd ordered a half size larger. Well made.
Beautiful leather, comfy, sporty. By Casual queen from Southwest Michigan on 09/23/2008 Pros: Breathes Well, Comfortable, Durable, Versatile Best Uses: Casual Wear, Travel Describe Yourself: Comfort Driven Sizing: Feels true to size Width: Feels true to width Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: OK, so normally I like casual, comfortable, lace-up shoes. These are the very definition of it. The leather is definitely high-quality. For being a closed shoe (no mesh or breathing holes), they are not stuffy. They have an almost springy feel to each step, and the sole is flexible without being floppy.
I haven't tried the different arch inserts, but the ones that came in the shoe are perfect. This is my 2nd day wearing them straight out of the box, and I'm impressed.
Two details: IMO, the only error in design is the two "ridges" sewn on the inside of the heel, which causes some uncomfortable rubbing. I'll try some stick-on foam inserts, and suspect it will solve the issue immediately. And, I did change the laces to normal ones, as the waxed originals were too stiff and hard to adjust.
