Nice soft material, too heavy for a blazer. A bit on the large size, order down if any question.
Suit Jacket, not a Road Warrior By sweater lover from Indianapolis on 02/24/2009 Pros: Breathable, Comfortable, Lightweight, Stylish Sizing: Feels true to size Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: The manufacturer's name for this garment is misleading. I don't believe it was meant to be a motorcycle jacket at all. I haven't had occasion to wear it since I got it, but I'd say it's too lightweight to be a real winter coat; it seems more like the weight of a suit jacket. Or, it would be a great autumn transitional jacket between a sweater and full-on winter coat. But, I suggest renaming this garment because I've never met a cycle rider that wore an expensive wool jacket for riding. The wool wouldn't hold up to the elements. The naming is more for the style of it than the purpose and sales may have been lost because of this "misinterpretation". It really is darling, though. I bought the black and I can see it with a black wool skirt and a silky sleeveless blouse to wear in the office. High heels to finish the super cool look.

Nevertheless, this is a wonderful jacket and I really love it.
By Diane from Williamsburg, VA on 10/16/2008 Pros: Comfortable, Lightweight, Stylish Sizing: Feels true to size Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: This jacket is an excellent value. It's very well-made, feels elegant, and looks snazzy. In spite of the name, it doesn't look anything like a motorcycle jacket to me, it's very tailored and looks good with jeans, slacks and skirts. It's light-weight but I expect it will be warm (I'm waiting for cooler weather to test it out). I have narrow shoulders, I ordered a 4 and it's a bit wide, but fits better with a sweater underneath. I was somewhat surprised at the fabric texture, I was expecting something like a felted, pea coat-type wool, but this wool has a rather slick feel, with a bit of shine.
