Not like the heavy cushion Trekking sock By Dave the well digger from Pullman, MI on 11/11/2008 Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I really like the Smart Wool Heavy Cushion Trekking socks for my work. I didn't notice that these were "light". They are an entirely different sock from what I have grown used to. I suppose they might be OK in their place, but that's not in my work boots.

By patti from boulder, co on 10/24/2008 Pros: Comfortable, Durable, Good Design, Regulates Temperature Well, Stylish, Wicks Away Moisture Best Uses: Backpacking, Daily Use, Hiking, Mountaineering, Team Sports, Travel Describe Yourself: Casual Adventurer Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: These are terrific socks for my son, but had to return because the pair was defective. Both socks were stamped XL but mismatched by a full inch or more.
Had to return for this reason but otherwise this is an excellent winter sock that is luxuriously soft with grips where it counts.
By patti from boulder, co on 10/24/2008 Pros: Comfortable, Durable, Good Design, Regulates Temperature Well, Stylish, Wicks Away Moisture Best Uses: Backpacking, Daily Use, Hiking Describe Yourself: Casual Adventurer Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Got these for my son who compliments only when he means it. He says they "feel great" with all the support points engineered into the sock, soft next to the skin as well as the nice considerate cushioning. He spends most of his day walking and traveling for school and being outdoors, and if they agree with him, they'll agree with you!
By [@]blissfulbodyyoga[@] from Gastonia, NC on 08/12/2008 Pros: Comfortable, Durable, NO blisters EVER, Regulates Temperature Well, Stylish, Wash and dry well, Wicks Away Moisture Best Uses: Backpacking, Daily Use, Hiking, Team Sports, Travel Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: These are wonderful, as are all the SmartWool socks. Your feet will be so happy! I usually get blisters ALL the time, and I never get them as long as I wear SmartWool socks (even if my feet get wet.) I wear them for hiking and running, and I put A LOT of miles on them. They are extremely durable and machine wash and dry well. Sierra Trading Post definitely has the best prices on them.
