By @@@@@@ from Michigan on 09/08/2009 Pros: Comfortable, Durable, Good Grip Describe Yourself: Avid Fisher Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: good boot for the money, does the job. They do take a little longer to lace than some other brands but I would still get them again.

By Red Devil from Denver, CO on 07/19/2009 Pros: Comfortable, Durable Describe Yourself: Casual Fisher Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: They are comfortable and seem pretty durable (I've only worn them 4 times), but I'm not a fan of the lacing system. I usually go with a 9 shoe, so got the 10 boot to leave room for the waders. The third row down the laces go around hooks, not through plastic loops like the others on the boot. If the laces slip out while tightening, you need to loosen them all the way down and start over to get a nice tight fit. Maybe I didn't need to go the size bigger, but its always helped in the past. They also don't dry very fast. I went fishing for a few hours yesterday morning and they still haven't dried more than 24 hours later.

By evergreen steelheader from dry side of Washington on 05/19/2009 Pros: Comfortable, Dries Easily, Good Grip, Lightweight Cons: Laces not cold friendly Describe Yourself: Avid Fisher Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: the laces are tough to work with cold fingers and the boot is tight in width with the wader bootie over the waders.
By tele-caster from NY, NJ & PA on 05/01/2009 Pros: Comfortable, Good Grip, Lightweight Describe Yourself: Avid Fisher Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: nice boot - a good choice for the casual fisherman or one that spends more time in a drift boat than wading ... we'll see how this lightweight boot holds up after a season of hike-to backcountry brookie chasing
By Riffle Runner from Toledo OH on 04/29/2009 Pros: Comfortable, Durable Best Uses: Freshwater Fishing Describe Yourself: Avid Fisher Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Very nice boot. I have worn a pair from Cabelas for a decade, but they were always a bit too narrow when I wore them with heavy neoprene waders. These Columbia's have a better width (I have "normal" feet) and have been very comfortable to wear this spring.
By KBMiller from Missouri on 03/20/2009 Pros: Comfortable, Dries Easily, Durable, Good Grip, Lightweight Cons: A Little tight at First Describe Yourself: Avid Fisher Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I have gone fishing 7 times in the last two weeks since recieving these boots. The first trip they were a little tight, but every trip since have been a great comfortable experience.
