unique article of clothing By Bonko from Connecticut on 07/14/2009 Pros: Breathable, Comfortable, Lightweight, Warm Best Uses: Casual Wear, Cold Weather, Hiking and Camping, Skiing/Snowboarding, Wet Weather Describe Yourself: Casual Adventurer Chest Size: Feels true to size Sleeve Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: A unique article of clothing that sets me apart from the Abercrombie and Fitch clones. It is stylish, form fitting for those that are not overweight or bulky. It is modish in appearance and makes one look "finished" and not a sloppy teenager.
STP carries some unique stuff and I hope they continue
By JHan763 from Crested Butte, CO on 06/09/2009 Pros: Breathable, Comfortable, Durable, Lightweight, Stylish Best Uses: Casual Wear, Hiking and Camping Describe Yourself: Casual Adventurer Chest Size: Feels true to size Sleeve Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Jacket is lightweight for warmer weather (40-60 degrees) and with a fleece or hoodie layer would be good in colder weather ( 20-40 degrees). It has generous sleeve length and big hand warmer pockets.May run slightly big for size, but works great when using an extra layer.
Great design that is worth buying By Skeeter from South Brunswick, NJ on 04/19/2009 Pros: Comfortable, Lightweight, Water Resistant, Windproof Best Uses: Casual Wear, Wet Weather Describe Yourself: Casual Adventurer Chest Size: Feels true to size Sleeve Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Use for everyday when the temperature is between 40-50 degrees F.
Follow the size listing. The sizing of this jacket is a little different from normal.
Very wind resistant with the back longer than the front, prevents those nasty drafts up the backside.
Repels the rain very well, but not sure if it is waterproof. Keeps me dry and the collar is high enough to keep wind and rain out.
Napoleon pocket opening is a little small. If you have anything but small hands beware!
Pulls on all outside zippers. One zippered pocket on the inside.
Velcro closure on wrists.
Overall a great value, worth every penny. Buy this jacket, it is just as good as any big name brand and it is cheaper!
By Biggun from Detroit Lakes, Minnesota on 04/14/2009 Cons: Zipper not very sturdy Describe Yourself: Casual Adventurer Chest Size: Feels true to size Sleeve Length: Feels too long Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I ordered 3 different soft shells. This was the best fitting, and I chose it over more expensive Marmot jackets.
By crstdButteSKIER from Colorado on 04/13/2009 Pros: Breathable, Comfortable, Lightweight Best Uses: Casual Wear, Hiking and Camping, Wet Weather Describe Yourself: Outdoor Professional Chest Size: Feels true to size Sleeve Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Very nice Jacket. Make sure you check the number size (eg. 40-42 = M) The numbers are pretty accurate. The M fits me and I usually wear a Large. But the Medium is a true 42. Great fit. Nice pockets, nice collar. So far its great!

By Mike from Grand Rapids, MI on 02/07/2009 Pros: Lightweight, Stylish Best Uses: Casual Wear, Hiking and Camping Describe Yourself: Casual Adventurer Chest Size: Feels true to size Sleeve Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I like this jacket, especially the style and color (artichoke) but the opening to the napoleon pocket is too small for my hand to easily fit into and the fabric is a little stiff. I am comparing to my old Sierra Designs soft shell which served me admirably for 2.5 winters. It is still a good buy for the money.
