By green chili girl from Taos NM on 10/01/2009 Cons: Poor Fit, Unflattering Shape Best Uses: Outdoor Activities Describe Yourself: Casual Dresser Sleeve Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: Too small through the shoulders and chest but a funny flare at the bottom. Button came off when trying it on and could not figure out how to put it back on due to suede decoration that was torn. Looked as if button was only attached by suede decoration. All other construction (including other buttons) OK.
Beautiful- but not what I needed By vtskiier from vermont on 02/24/2009 Pros: Attractive Design, Comfortable, Earth-friendly, Versatile Best Uses: Daily Use, Travel Describe Yourself: Casual Dresser Sizing: Feels true to size Sleeve Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I was disappointed to find this coat to not be warm enough for winter. Fall, maybe, or winter in a milder climate. It's pretty much a feminine barn coat. Also, I wasn't a fan of the button closure- wind gets in there. It has more of an hourglass shape than the picture shows which is flattering. I agree with the other reviewer about the sleeves. I really liked it, but ended up returning because I needed something warmer.
By skiadikt from upstate ny on 01/11/2009 Pros: Attractive Design, Good Cut, Warm Describe Yourself: Casual Dresser Sleeve Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: i was surprised at how nice the lining in this jacket was- the faux fur is soft and warm and the sleeves have a very nice fleece lining. its a nice fit and it looks adorable with the fur trim at the cuffs. only complaints are that the buttons dont always stay closed if i sit down and the sleeves are snug with a sweater underneath. i followed the mfgr's sizing chart and ordered the xl, only to return it for the L. (i'm approx. a street size 14)
