By Comfort-Stepper from Buffalo, NY. on 05/25/2009 Pros: Comfortable, Elastic Valcro Straps, Stable Cons: Steel Loops could be prob Best Uses: Casual Wear, Travel Describe Yourself: Comfort Driven Sizing: Feels true to size Width: Feels true to width Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: As previously stated in my Colorado review. Earth Shoes, at least on me, don't seem to run small, as suggested... I ordered these in my usual size & they fit right. I may exchange my Colorados for my usual size now. These EastSiders ain't as aggressively soled or as heavy-duty as the Colorado but they're equally as comfy & lighter, maybe better suited for the street &/or as a driving shoe, where the Colorado provides a bit more tread for the trail, light snow or mud. I'd have preferred these EastSiders be another slip-on, of which none that are left come in my size but the elastic Valcro straps works well too. My only worry is that the steel loops the straps run though can shift due to the leather they're secured in not being stiff enough to hold them in their proper orientation. I can see the possibility of the straps wearing out a bit faster when the loops shift out of proper orientation, if one requires them as tight as possible... Luckily for me, they fit well enough that I can adj. the straps as loose as possible & the loops remain in their proper orientation & I'm hoping that will remain the case... I really don't want to have to resort to full laces
I would buy this product again! By Earth shoe Steph from San Antonio, TX on 05/02/2009 Pros: Breathes Well, Comfortable, Durable, Looks Great, Stable Best Uses: Business Casual, Casual Wear, Cold Weather Describe Yourself: Comfort Driven Sizing: Feels true to size Width: Feels true to width Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: My husband has Parkinson's Disease. His right leg shakes and the leg cramps from the calf down to the toes. I wear earth shoes because of my hammer toes and love them. Earth shoes make you walk from heel to toe helping to eliminate pressure on the ball of the foot and the toes. Finally, I ordered these shoes as a surprise for him and when he wore the shoes around the house, he was surprised how comfortable the shoes felt and that his toes were not cramping and jamming into the toe bed of the shoe.
Love em', I hadn't worn them in 30 years By Peeba from Shrewsbury, MA on 04/28/2009 Pros: Comfortable, Durable, Lightweight, Stable Best Uses: Business Casual, Casual Wear Describe Yourself: Style Driven Sizing: Feels true to size Width: Feels true to width Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I hadn't worn Earth shoes in 30 years. I had forgotten how comfortable they were. After just one day, I could feel the muscles in my legs toning up. Also, my back seemed to have less stress. I've been wearing them for a couple of weeks and I don't want to take them off. I even have been wearing them with my suits-nobody has said anything.
Now that the warm weather is here, I'll have to look into purchasing some Earth sandals.

First pair of Earth shoes. By Clemson Jer from Clemson, SC on 02/19/2009 Pros: Comfortable, good arch support, Stable Cons: Not Enough Cushioning Best Uses: Business Casual, Casual Wear Describe Yourself: Comfort Driven Sizing: Feels true to size Width: Feels true to width Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I like these shoes. I have bad arches and these shoes have excellent arch support. The negative heel promotes better posture and seems be alleviating some knee pain I was experiencing. I only wish they had a little more cushioning in the soles. Overall I would recommend these shoes.
