I would buy these pants again.. and have By Cash the dog walker from Des Moines, IA on 11/01/2009 Pros: Breathable, Comfortable, High-Quality Material and Stitching, Lightweight Best Uses: Casual Wear, Hiking Describe Yourself: Outdoor Professional Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: These pants are comfortable and good looking enough for casual dress. The lone cargo pocket is well placed and out of the way... quite useful. The only strike is the back pocket cover flaps wrinkle like crazy.
By Boltboy from San Diego on 10/29/2009 Pros: Comfortable, Good colors, High-Quality Material and Stitching Best Uses: Casual Wear, Travel Describe Yourself: Casual Adventurer Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I now own 3 pairs of these pants (and also several versions of the shorts) and I love them. These pants can be used for virtually any purpose, except for more formal occasions, and look and wear great. They are a great alternative to jeans and the side cell fone pocket is a unique and handy feature.
comfortable and good looking By Monkey observer from Superior. CO on 10/26/2009 Pros: Comfortable, High-Quality Material and Stitching Best Uses: Casual Wear, Travel Describe Yourself: Avid Adventurer Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Great pants, these are my second pair, and I will be ordering another pair soon.
By Brent from Long Beach, CA on 10/26/2009 Pros: Comfortable, High-Quality Material and Stitching Best Uses: Camping, Casual Wear, Travel Describe Yourself: Avid Adventurer Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: This is the second pair of these I have purchased, and in the interim received back my older Alpine Grammiccis from the mender (crotch was out). On closer analysis these pants are still great, but I did prefer the older guide/alpine pants. These pants have more taper in the leg (not much but more than I'd prefer) and again, flapped rear pcokets that are a little more bulky than preferred. All told, still and awesome pair of pants, just not their best.
By CL from Portland OR on 10/20/2009 Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Good if your legs are a 32" inseam or less. Mine are 33" so it was a no go.
By Zion Rider from CO on 10/20/2009 Pros: High-Quality Material and Stitching Describe Yourself: Casual Adventurer Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I'd say that these are a bit heavy for most outdoor use, maybe more fitting for cool weather. The cargo pocket is fairly concealed so you can get away wearing these as a "nice" pair of casual pants without the appearance of big cargo pockets. Very well constructed.
By SultanDrops from Traverse City, MI on 10/17/2009 Pros: Comfortable, High-Quality Material and Stitching Best Uses: Backpacking, Camping, Casual Wear, Hiking, Travel Describe Yourself: Avid Adventurer Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: i wear these on a weekly basis as casual wear. they will also make great camping/hiking pants
They don't make a lot like these. By Brent from Long Beach, CA on 10/14/2009 Pros: Comfortable, High-Quality Material and Stitching Best Uses: Casual Wear, Travel Describe Yourself: Avid Adventurer Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: There are not many sturdy pants on the market, and most are made to fall apart fast. Grammicci is well made and affordable (unlike Mountain Khakis). I didn't love the rear pockets, as the cover flaps are heavier and bulkier than necessary, but the rest of the pant is awesome. This is somewhat-heavy canvas, so while with air travel, outdoor work, or indoor duties they might be ideal (my situation) they are a little too-bulky for hiking or camping.

Fit true to size, durability and comfort By Mike not the bike guy from N.O.L.A. on 09/29/2009 Pros: Breathable, Comfortable, High-Quality Material and Stitching Best Uses: Backpacking, Camping, Casual Wear, Hiking, Travel Describe Yourself: Avid Adventurer Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Great pair of pants for the backcountry or around the fire. I find them to be a little longer in the leg, but we're talking bunches weird, not 'man, I'm tripping all over these things.' with boots on there's no problem. I could see it being a small problem for climbing. Otherwise great pants
