Khakis that don't look stuffy By Jim from Montrose, CO on 04/23/2009 Pros: Comfortable, High-Quality Material and Stitching Describe Yourself: Casual Adventurer Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I mostly wear these pants to work and going out as opposed to camping, where I like synthetic pants more. I like the more or less tailored fit of the Guide Pant, as I don't like baggy pants and pants with wide leg bottoms. They can be worn right out of the dryer due to the high quality cotton.
By Lew from Chicago Il on 04/22/2009 Pros: Comfortable, High-Quality Material and Stitching Cons: Poor Material or Construction Best Uses: Casual Wear, Travel Describe Yourself: Avid Adventurer Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Gramicci makes great products. My only complaint (the con above) is they had some fancy trim on the inside of the waist. I couldn't see any reason for it, other than an attempt at some kind of style. The trim, which hangs below the seam for the waistband about 1 cm, presents an extra, thicker seam which tends to roll and fold and generally get in the way. I cut it out and now I'm happy with them.
Not quite as nice as their Eagle Trekker Rada pants, which I think have a more generous cut and lighter material.
By Slick from CT on 04/07/2009 Pros: Breathable, Comfortable, High-Quality Material and Stitching, Lightweight, Packable Best Uses: Casual Wear, Travel Describe Yourself: Casual Adventurer Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Best pants for whatever I'm doing! Extremely comfortable and always look good.

They're still in nice condition and I've since purchased 3 more pair. They're comfortable, look great and wash well. Take them right out of the dryer and wear them wrinkle free. You gotta love that!!!!
Excellent quality, comfort By Matt from Tacoma, WA on 03/16/2009 Pros: Comfortable, High-Quality Material and Stitching Best Uses: Casual Wear, Hiking, Travel Describe Yourself: Casual Adventurer Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I'd forgotten how comfortable Gramicci pants are, and how well made. These guide pants are instantly my favorite -- they're all I want to wear.
I'm 6'0", weigh 165 to 170 lbs, and generally wear 33 or 34 waist with 32" inseam. The Gramicci 34 waist, 32 inseam fit perfectly.
The morel color is a medium brown -- good looking, versatile. The stone color was too light for me personally, but others might like them. The antelope color looks nothing like the photo (not to mention an actual antelope). It is not khaki at all -- it's almost a park ranger green. It's really quite a nice color -- again, versatile and pleasant.
These are excellent pants. Highly recommended.
