By dirtbag climber from tahoe, ca. on 12/14/2008 Pros: Breathable, Comfortable, High-Quality Material and Stitching, Lightweight, Packable Best Uses: Backpacking, Camping, Casual Wear, Hiking Describe Yourself: Avid Adventurer Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: my husband and i spend a lot of time climbing, and these are his favorite pants to climb in, the last pair wore out in the butt (from approaching clmbs and having to use the scooting method), he had it patched, which made him look like a baboon, so i bought him two new pair for a birthday/christmas gift, but they are comfy/stretchy enough for the climbing meneuvers we have to make... my only regret is not buying myself a couple of pair when i bought his!!

pants are great; belt is worthless By big dog from cape cod, ma on 11/07/2008 Pros: Comfortable, High-Quality Material and Stitching, Rugged Cons: Belt buckle does not hold Best Uses: Backpacking, Camping, Casual Wear, Hiking, Mountain Biking Describe Yourself: Avid Adventurer Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: work well with suspenders; threw the belt away
other gramicci pants (e.g. guide pants) are better as they have belt loops for a regular belt.
