Gramicci's On Sale -- Always a Good Deal By Tommy T. from Mountains of North America on 08/06/2009 Pros: Breathable, Comfortable, High-Quality Material and Stitching Best Uses: Backpacking, Camping, Casual Wear, Hiking, Travel Describe Yourself: Avid Adventurer Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: You either like Gramiccis or you don't. These are about comfortable fit and total function. I've been wearing them for at least 20 years.
Best feture, even for a skinny mountaineer like me, is the loose seat and gussetted crotch. These will never bind regardless of how steep and rough the trail is or how long you sit on the shuttle bus to the other end of the ridge.
They are 100% cotton and are not great when soaked. Also, after a few years of use, the cotton gets friable (?) and little snags can turn into big rips very quickly.
I once met a really great woman who became a close friend of our family when she said "your're wearing Gramiccis too." Images shared by: Tommy T.Tommy wearing Gramiccis at Chaco Culture NHP Tags: Using Product
