By Jeff from Spokane WA on 12/15/2008 Pros: Easy moveability, High-Quality Material and Stitching, Lightweight, Packable Describe Yourself: Casual Adventurer Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I am 6'6 and have a hard time finding pants that are long enough. These are a perfect fit, and they can be worn to do anything. They are my favorite pants.
POOR QUALITY - BELT BROKE AFTER TWO DAYS By 71 year old who is used to quality items from West Virginia on 12/13/2008 Cons: Poor Material or Construction Best Uses: Backpacking, Hiking Describe Yourself: Casual Adventurer Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: The pants are very confortable but were rendered useless by the poor quality belt. It would not hold and in two days it frayed and actually came apart at the buckle.
By JamesS from Eastern Washington on 12/08/2008 Pros: High-Quality Material and Stitching Describe Yourself: Avid Adventurer Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I've been wearing Gramicci pants for almost as long as they've been invented. Still the same great pant although now they're made in India rather than the USA and that's a sad commentary. I do have to admit though the quality control is a lot better on the Indian made than my last pair of US made pants.
I prefer the gramicci pants over jeans By Joy the landscaper from Birmingham, Alabama on 11/10/2008 Pros: Breathable, Comfortable, High-Quality Material and Stitching, Lightweight Best Uses: Backpacking, Baling hay in the field, Camping, Casual Wear, Cold Weather, Gardening, Hiking, lounging Describe Yourself: Outdoor Professional Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Durability, breathability, and ease of movement make gramacci pants THE BEST PANTS I've ever worn.
Though I must say after 2 tough years of wear it was surprising to see the only feature that had worn it self to the max was the elastic....which I washed those pants everyday practically and they held their seams. The gusset was very helpful in movement also. I love them!!!
Classic Grammici with a chronic flaw By Jose' from New Paltz, NY on 11/07/2008 Pros: Breathable, Comfortable, Lightweight Cons: Poor Material or Construction Describe Yourself: Avid Adventurer Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: The pants are fabulous but the belt is made from a substandard material and freys easily.
By owen from Indiana on 10/06/2008 Pros: Breathable, High-Quality Material and Stitching, Stylish Cons: Poor Material or Construction Best Uses: Casual Wear, Hiking Describe Yourself: Avid Adventurer Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: I have been a fan of these pants for a few years, but on this latest model the belt is beyond poor. I wore them for about 3 hours and then when I go to put them on again I notice that the stitching that holds the buckle to the belt has nearly fallen off. I also could tell the belt would not stay tight. I am going to get another pair of these pants and see how they work. Suggestion do not by these pants if you are on the smaller side of the size. I am a big 36 and they will stay up even with the poor belt. However, if I were a 34 I think the pants would not stay up.
Hope this helps+
I can't recommend these pants. By Kurt from New York, NY on 09/19/2008 Describe Yourself: Casual Adventurer Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: I have another pair of Gramicci pants with an "EZ cinch quick-release nylon tunnel belt," but the belt is made of tough nylon, and it holds. The belt for these pants is made of a thin, slippery material, and its slips right through the buckle, so the pants don't stay up. I am returning them.
