By Geologist from Olympia Washington on 01/05/2009 Best Uses: Cold Weather, Layering Describe Yourself: Occasional Exerciser Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Very warm. A snug fit despite my 18.5 BMI. Tight at the cuffs and high crew neckline, so slightly difficult to take off. I bought the red, but w/ the textured knit it has an overall washed-out pink look - so color was more subdued than I expected.
By Barn Rat from Kentucky on 01/02/2009 Describe Yourself: Frequent Exerciser Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: I have several of them at home that I've been very happy with. This time, I ordered two and I'm not convinced they were even the same product. Both were different materials, different weights, and different linings from both the tops I already had and from each other. The only thing the two tops had in common was that the neckline was tight. I kept them because it wasn't worth the shipping to return them and I figure I can try to stretch out the neckline a bit.
couldnt put it over my head! By Skippy from Rochester New York on 01/01/2009 Cons: Made extremely small, Need to order 2 sizes up, Poor Fit, Restricts Movement Describe Yourself: Frequent Exerciser Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: Was looking forward to wearing it cross country skiing. Liked the material a lot.
I sent it back when I couldnt even try it on. Afraid to re order & be dissappointed w/sizing.
Wonderful Weight and Warm By Donnagal from Durango, Colorado on 01/01/2009 Pros: Comfortable, Lightweight, Moisture Wicking, Snug Fit, Warm Cons: Arms are a little tight Best Uses: Cold Weather, Layering, Snow Sports Describe Yourself: Frequent Exerciser Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Wore this snowboarding on some pretty cold days (10 degrees) under one thin sweather, a windstopper jacket by Arcterex and a mountain hardware parka (also purchased at Sierra) and I have never been warmer. Love it. it's a little snug at the neck and wrists, but I'm willing to live with it for the performance.
By Janet from NYC on 12/23/2008 Pros: Comfortable, Lightweight, Moisture Wicking, Snug Fit Best Uses: Cold Weather, Layering, Running Describe Yourself: Frequent Exerciser Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I run in thermals under a LS or SS T, depending on the temperature. This shirt is heavier than most and allows this in sub-20 weather
differences between colors By ctgrl from New England on 12/23/2008 Best Uses: Cold Weather, Layering, Snow Sports Describe Yourself: Frequent Exerciser Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I ordered the red and the yellow-green, both in size M. The red is thicker and less stretchy fabric, with cozy fleece on the inside but the outer side of the fabric has a smooth plasticky feel, kind of like a cheap polyester comforter. The red is thick enough to wear on its own, but not very stylish at all, with a very straight cut that hugs too much at the hips (and I have a normal/trim figure). The yellow-green is quite thin material, sort of a pointelle, more of an undergarment. The cut is not as straight and snug at the hips, and the fabric is more of a traditional, thin, techy fabric, without the fleecy feel on the inside or the plasticky feel on the outside. The overall fit of both is pretty accurate, but they are quite different shirts. I wonder what the other colors are like?! It seems to be quite variable.
