By Emily from Central Florida on 11/28/2008 Pros: Comfortable, Wrinkle-Free Describe Yourself: Casual Dresser Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I bought two pair and the belt slips on one but not the other. This I can deal with because I think these are about the best thing since grits. I ordered four more which I think is a pretty strong endorsement.
"I would buy this product again." By Becca from Greensboro, NC on 11/19/2008 Pros: Comfortable, Flattering, High Quality, Wrinkle-Free Cons: Falls Too Low Below The Waist Best Uses: Casual Wear, Wear To Work Describe Yourself: Casual Dresser Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Relaxed fit is very comfortable and thick fabric is warm. But, the belt doesn't always stay tightened and they tend to fall down some.
By pbfoot from Sequim, WA on 11/15/2008 Pros: Comfortable, High Quality, Washes Well Best Uses: Casual Wear, Gardening Describe Yourself: Casual Dresser Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I originally bought these pants for working in my yard. They are comfortable and well made, and well suited for outdoor work. As a bonus, they look good enough to run into town for errands or an appointment. These are one of the few casual pants that come in a 33 inch inseam, which I really need. They wash well, too. Any dirt from gardening just washes right out (so far). The only drawback is that I have to pull the belt (built into the pants) very tight, as they are a bit large in the waist. I end up with about 8 inches of fabric belt hanging down, which looks fuuny, so I tuck it down inside the waist. A small inconvenience. They are really nice pants.

So was happy to find new ones. The new ones seem to be of even better quality than my old ones. I'm very pleased with my purchase.
I would buy this product again and have! By The Magic Genie from Massachusetts on 11/10/2008 Pros: Comfortable, Flattering, High Quality Best Uses: Casual Wear, Going Out, Wear To Work Describe Yourself: Classic Dresser Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I was apprehensive when I first donned these pants because I had read the reviews which mentioned the low rise and I was dismayed to learn it was true. They felt odd. I wore them, however, and my first trip to the loo when I adjusted them to BELOW my waist (as they're meant to be worn) made me into a total convert. Jeans may still have a place in my wardrobe, but these are the most comfortable pants! The quality is impeccable and they're quite attractive with sweaters/blazers/blouses, etc. Love the dress up or down adaptability. I found the "Aloe" a little too green so have returned for an "Otter" and a "Slate" The "Stone" beats my other name brand khakis out of the game. Super pants for walking, shopping, climbing. With my "silks" they're very warm. It's been interesting with the gusseted crotch. No binding. Great item.
By mudlarke from cape cod, ma on 11/08/2008 Pros: Comfortable, Flattering, High Quality, Washes Well, Wrinkle-Free Describe Yourself: Casual Dresser Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: i have been wearing these pants for years, and was pleased to find them in the great morel color and, especially, in 29" length, perfect for my 5'2" height. for me, these pants are much more comfortable than jeans for their ease of movement and great fabric. only problem is that they have made the waist gathering strap in a slippery fabric, so it doesnt hold. i make a small easy to undo knot to hold the strap at its place.
belt material has changed By yard worker from Spartanburg, SC on 11/07/2008 Pros: Comfortable, Washes Well Describe Yourself: Casual Dresser Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: I have three pair of these slacks that I purchased last year from this site. The ones that I ordered this year have a different material for the belt which is ribbon-like and slick. This causes the belt not to stay cinched tightly and if I have anything in the pockets, the pants start to slide down.
As always, the fit and fabric are wonderful, but this problem with the belt has me sending back the two pairs I purchased recently
