By lunac16 from Louisville, KY on 09/19/2009 Pros: Comfortable, Great Color, High Quality, Washes Well Cons: Pocket material too thin, Waist too large Best Uses: Casual Wear, Night Out, Wear To Work Describe Yourself: Casual Dresser Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I've been buying Gramicci pants & shorts for many years. They have been inconsistent in fit for several years now (i.e. length difference in identical pairs). For a while Medium was tight around the waist, making them hard to get past the hips. Now they are quite large around the waist, and the belt too slippery. Also the pockets are of very thin material, so won't be as durable. I notice they are now made in India instead of the U.S., so perhaps that's a reason for the changes. I've never heard of "reverse leg" so ordered the straight leg expecting the same tapered leg I've always gotten without specifying. I am returning these because of the leg width! I love the colors, though.
By C92262 from Palm Springs, CA on 09/18/2009 Pros: Comfortable, Flattering, Great Color, High Quality, Washes Well, Wrinkle-Free Describe Yourself: Casual Dresser Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I ordered 2 pair, both 31 inches in length. When they arrived, one had a tag that said 29 in., the other was tagged 31 inches; both seem to be the same length. One color (the sage color) is cut a little narrower than the other and feels a little restrictive around the knees. both, fit, however. I live in the Southwest where Sept temps are still in the 90-100 degree range, so I'll have to wait for it to cool down to wear the Gramiccis, but from the fabric which got much softer after only one wash, will probably become my "go to" pants for casual wear.
Gramicci Dourada Pants win again! By hi country hiker from Colorado Springs, CO on 09/16/2009 Pros: Comfortable, Flattering, Great Color, High Quality, Washes Well Best Uses: Casual Wear, Outdoor sport Describe Yourself: Casual Dresser Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Count on Gramicci pants for durable, comfortable pants for hiking and climbing, as well as informal, casual wear. The gussetted crotch is what sets these pants apart from others and makes them so great! The pants look good and seem to last forever. Obviously a very good investment and great value! [...]
Much more comfortable than I expected By Bar from St George, KS on 09/07/2009 Cons: Falls Too Low Below The Waist Describe Yourself: Casual Dresser Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I bought these to wear around the farm. They are very comfortable and cool during the hot summer days when you have to have pants instead of shorts.

By Susie from Pittsburgh on 09/03/2009 Describe Yourself: Casual Dresser Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: I am a size 12. These make me feel and look big and thick. I couldn't take looking like that even for hiking!
By kdenb from Rural Idaho on 08/27/2009 Pros: Comfortable, Wrinkle-Free Describe Yourself: Casual Dresser Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: Just okay for Gramicci- not nearly as good as my pairs from 5+ years ago.
First, the old "medium" size has become the new "small" size. It's too bad Gramicci has succumbed to vanity sizing.
And as noted by others, the flimsy belt is pretty useless and constantly needs to be retightened. The fit in the groin is less than flattering.
I'm leaning towards returning them.
