By Mom to redheads from Colorado Springs, CO on 08/13/2009 Pros: Comfortable, Moisture Wicking, Warm Best Uses: Cold Weather, Snow Sports, Winter Sports Describe Yourself: Occasional Exerciser Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: This is a nice soft baselayer. It is a thick waffle weave fabric, so if you are looking for a thin base layer this may not be for you.
By jerandali from Arlington, WA on 08/13/2009 Pros: Comfortable, Moisture Wicking, Snug Fit, Warm Best Uses: Cold Weather, Layering, Snow Sports Describe Yourself: Frequent Exerciser Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I was expecting a lighter weight with this - but maybe this is what "midweight" is supposed to be? Instead of a "regular" shirt or pants these were actually sort of quilted. They will still be great in the winter for really cold, snowy days, but probably will be a little bulky to wear for every day occasions. The sizes were true to size but perhaps a little on the small end, but maybe because these are meant to be worn under clothing and more snug?
By Drive it Dane from Plains, MT on 08/04/2009 Pros: Comfortable, Moisture Wicking Describe Yourself: Frequent Exerciser Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Wonderful to find something made in the USA.
By A rare camper from Boston, MA on 07/15/2009 Pros: Lightweight, Snug Fit Cons: Poor Fit, Restricts Movement Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: I ordered a set for my two children. One set was perfect. The other set was not...the shirt was way too small despite being an XL and the pants were made of a strange material. The variability of size and material is amazing to me given that supposedly these were all suppose to be the same. Unfortunately, I did not have time to exchange as I needed the clothes for a caamp. I have reservations about whether I would order from here again.
By Nikki from Rochester, NY on 06/29/2009 Pros: Comfortable, Moisture Wicking, Warm Best Uses: Cold Weather, Layering Describe Yourself: Frequent Exerciser Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Just what I was looking for. My daughter needed a synthetic long underwear set to wear hiking and this one worked out just fine.
diff. colors are very diff. materials By Jess from Silicon Valley, CA on 06/07/2009 Best Uses: Cold Weather, Layering Describe Yourself: Occasional Exerciser Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I bought two shirts -- the light blue and the red. They are each very different materials. The red one is much thicker than I was expecting -- a kind of waffle weave that was very soft on the inside. I was hoping for thin lightweight long underwear like my [...] mid-weight long underwear. These definitely aren't that. I almost sent this back, but my daughter *loved* it because it was so soft. She has worn this shirt on two camping trips so far: as a warm underlayer in the evening and then for sleeping in at night. She gives it two thumbs up, but just beware the red shirt is very thick. The light blue shirt is much thinner, but has a much more "polyester" feel. Comes out of the dryer very clingy and static-y. Again, not quite the fabric I was hoping for, but my daughter really likes the color and says it is quite warm for sleeping in. (Before getting the long underwear she was never able to keep warm in her 20-degree sleeping bag at night. The long underwear is just the right thing for keeping her warm without bulking her up.)
By Zombie Woof from Eagle, ID on 05/23/2009 Pros: Comfortable, Nice Design, Soft, Washes Well, Well Made Describe Yourself: Casual Dresser Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: My kids love this for camping in the cold!
I would buy this product again By t from Gilbert, AZ on 05/18/2009 Pros: Comfortable, Soft, Washes Well Describe Yourself: Casual Dresser Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: This product is exactly what I was looking for as a sleep wear for my boys when camping and as a base layer when we go skiing. It serves both purposes, when you have 4 boys is can be costly to buy long under wear for 2 different activities. This product keeps the cost down. Love them, and so did my boys, It is true fitting size, not much room for growth.
More of a shirt since it is so thick! By Sandra Macgyver from Norwalk, CT on 04/21/2009 Pros: Comfortable, Very warm Best Uses: Cool Nights, Lounging, Sleeping Describe Yourself: Casual Dresser Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I am a 5'7" size 6 woman and this boy's XL shirt fits me perfectly. The sleeve length is about 20", which is great; however they taper and are snug around my lower arm. Overall, I would definitely buy more because it is sooooo warm.
