By Sandi on the Trail from Madison, WI on 09/15/2009 Pros: Attractive Design, Comfortable, Flattering, Nice Color, Nice Fabric Describe Yourself: Casual Dresser Comfort vs Style: Comfort Driven Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I am a marathoner (soon to be ultra-marathoner) and this skirt is perfect for running long distances in hot weather. The built in shorts stay put (don't ride up) and the skirt is cute with a little swing. I have fairly large muscular thighs and regular running shorts are too short and tend to ride up which looks stupid and results in chafing on my inner thighs. Never again! Now I feel cute even when staggering across the finish line. I love it so much I bought one for my sister who runs x-country in highschool.

By Jim the runner from Indiana on 08/04/2009 Pros: Attractive Design, Comfortable, Flattering, Nice Color, Nice Fabric Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I bought this and several other running skorts for my wife. This is her favorite as it has a longer inseam (no chafing or riding up) and the mesh short is extra breathable. The size Medium fits her body well (size 10). The other Skirt Sports Gym Girl (non-snowflake) runs smaller, but this one is true to size.
By Horsey Mama from Cody, WY on 07/28/2009 Pros: Attractive Design, Comfortable, Flattering, Nice Color, Nice Fabric Cons: Loosens while wearing Describe Yourself: Casual Dresser Comfort vs Style: Comfort Driven Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: This skirt fits fantastic and is very comfortable and lightweight. It breathes well and is fun to wear. The waist is very lightweight material and will loosen and roll down but overall, a very comfortable and stylish skort!

not so great for long running By Trigirl from Spokane WA on 03/08/2009 Describe Yourself: Casual Dresser Comfort vs Style: Comfort Driven Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: I bought this with a friend recommendation, I have been looking high and low for a nice running skort that fit well, didnt slide around etc.
dont think this is it. the waist band does not handle sweat well, is very thin material and gets soaked and then the skirt slips down. might be ok for a 5K but not much longer than that.

By Run for it from San Bernardino, CA on 01/08/2009 Pros: Attractive Design, Flattering, Nice Fabric Cons: Poorly Constructed, See Through Describe Yourself: Classic Dresser Comfort vs Style: Comfort Driven Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Well, the shorties are indeed a little see through (I wouldn't lay on a weight bench while wearing these unless I'm by myself or have a pair of panties underneath as well) but for running they should be fine and I understand what the other reviewer meant by "puckers in the back". After trying it on I realized that, if you have hips and a butt of any kind (I only wear an 8-10 but I'm curvy), the seam just below the waist band doesn't really stretch enough to stay flat against your body. The seam flips up and makes the skirt pop up about 1/4inch all the way around the waist, especially in the back. A bigger size doesn't solve the problem, it's structural. Other than that it is a great skirt and very comfortable. I guess I'll just wear a longer shirt to cover the waist band issue.
