By redtwist123 from Silver City, NM on 12/31/2008 Pros: Attractive Design, Comfortable, Flattering, High Quality, Nice Fabric Best Uses: Gym workouts, Running, Tennis Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I first ordered a small, but it puckered in the back, so I exchanged for a medium. It also puckered in the back. I should have stuck with the small; it was more flattering. Other than that one issue, I love this skirt! The shorts underneath stay put better than any other I've tried, and the fabric of the skirt moves beautifully.
By betxi from new orleans, la on 12/12/2008 Pros: Attractive Design, Comfortable, Flattering, Nice Fabric, Small snowflake Describe Yourself: Trendy/Stylish Dresser Comfort vs Style: Comfort Driven Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: i love the mesh shorts in this skirt. i own a few running skirts and this is my new favorite. i also like the silver snowflake on the back. it is high on the back (right under the waistband) and is about 3" in diameter. i wasn't sure how big it would be, but it is very subtle and adds a little flare to the skirt.
By Fitness Professional from Minnesota on 11/08/2008 Pros: Attractive Design, Comfortable, Flattering, Versatile Cons: Stretches after time Best Uses: Training, Wear To Work Describe Yourself: Casual Dresser Comfort vs Style: Comfort Driven Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: As a fitness professional I am always looking for new, comfortable clothes to wear to work. A skirt provides a fun, sassy option -- especially in scarlet with the snowflake graphic. The only drawback comes from extended wear as the fabric stretches a little. I would not recommend this product for any plyometric, agility, or jumping motions. Great for running though. I appreciate that the liner is a pair of shorts with an inseam longer than 2". Additionally, the appearance is deceiving. When I received the skirt, I didn't think it looked as though it would fit. It stretches to fit and does not cause unattractive lines. Overall a great product!
Cute snowflake on the back By BlueSwimmer from Alexandria, VA on 11/04/2008 Pros: Attractive Design, Comfortable, Flattering, High Quality, Nice Fabric Best Uses: Great for running Describe Yourself: Classic Dresser Comfort vs Style: Comfort Driven Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I love SkirtSports products but find them pricey, so I was thrilled to see this special snowflake skirt for such a great price at Sierra Trading Post. The skirt is super comfortable for running, covers my butt nicely so I don't flash the neighborhood, and the side pockets securely hold my cell phone and ipod. The color is a gorgeous burnt red, and the snowflake on the back is adorable. Consistency in sizing is one issue with this otherwise great company; this skirt seems a little shorter than other GymGirl style skirts I own.
By mandy mom from temecula, ca on 10/27/2008 Pros: Attractive Design, Comfortable, Flattering, Versatile, Wrinkle Resistant Cons: Color Not As Expected Best Uses: Casual Wear, For running, For the gym Describe Yourself: Casual Dresser Comfort vs Style: Style Driven Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: the shorties have a pocket on the leg with a hole for your ipod. skirtsports thinks of everything.
Very Transparent Shorties Beneath! By Emily from Andover, MA on 08/28/2008 Pros: Attractive Design, Flattering, unique Cons: Low Quality, Mesh snags easily, Rides-up, Transparent shorties Best Uses: Treadmill, Walking running Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: I have been frequently disappointed with the Triks skirts I bought over the last two years mainly due to their irregular sizing, poor quality seams and ridiculously transparent (though breathable) shorties beneath. These shorties ride up, even with the longer inseam of 5 inches, until one sweats (a lot).
