By Carousel from Boston, MA on 11/01/2009 Pros: Breathable, Comfortable, Durable, Lightweight, Warm Describe Yourself: Casual Adventurer Chest Size: Feels true to size Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: This is a really nice jacket but it did not fit well. It fit snug through the hip but fit well in the shoulders. If I got a larger size to fit my hips the shoulders would have been too big. It's too bad because I really liked the jacket.

Wasn't disappointed!
By Julie from Seattle, WA on 05/12/2009 Pros: Breathable, Comfortable, Durable, Lightweight, Stylish, Warm Best Uses: Cold Weather, Hiking and Camping, Snowshoeing Describe Yourself: Casual Adventurer Chest Size: Feels true to size Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I wore one of these while snowshoeing many times this past winter. It is breathable and warm, dries quickly after I've been sweating on the uphill climbs. I wear it hiking in cold weather. I bought a second one, in another color, because I love this product so much!!!
My favorite jacket so far! Worth the $ By pinkbarbie from East Coast on 03/16/2009 Pros: Breathable, Comfortable, Durable, Lightweight, Warm Best Uses: Casual Wear, Cold Weather, Hiking and Camping, Skiing/Snowboarding, Wet Weather Describe Yourself: Casual Adventurer Chest Size: Feels true to size Sleeve Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: This is the only jacket I have found so far in this price range that: fits, is good in the rain and has a hood, is light enough to travel, keeps me warm, is perfect for layering or by itself, looks nice, and is comfortable. You can take this jacket anywhere in lots of weather conditions coast to coast! Well worth the money and is super practical in 40+ degree weather. Thin enough to wear a vest over if colder. The sleeves, body, and pocket size/depth are long and big enough for a tall person. It also has some stretch to it. A perfect jacket for me and I am VERY happy with this purchase.

By Bionic Beth from Dexter, MI on 02/16/2009 Pros: Breathable, Comfortable, Durable, Lightweight, Warm, Windproof Describe Yourself: Casual Adventurer Chest Size: Feels too small Sleeve Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Slightly small through the chest but not too tight. Might want to order up if you are big chested.
Great jacket for mild cool weather! By Long time STP customer from Cupertino, CA on 02/09/2009 Pros: Breathable, Comfortable, Stylish Describe Yourself: Casual Adventurer Chest Size: Feels true to size Sleeve Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: One of my favorite jackets since can wear indoors like a fleece and outdoors. A bit thin (I think it's about a Polartec 100 thickness) if less than 55 degrees and no ability to tighten the cuffs if really windy, but otherwise great. Definitely blocks wind. In terms of size, I'd say it's sized more like a fleece/sweather than a ski jacket, i.e. not that much room to wear anything thick underneath. Several people already complimented it, and I usually don't get compliments on my jackets :-)
By Santa Barbara Shopper from Santa Barbara, CA on 02/02/2009 Pros: Breathable, Comfortable, Lightweight, Warm Best Uses: Casual Wear, Cold Weather, Hiking and Camping, Skiing/Snowboarding Chest Size: Feels true to size Sleeve Length: Feels too long Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I have been looking for a Windstopper jacket or fleece that fits well, and I have finally found it. I tried many in size medium (my normal size) that were too fitted for my busty figure. I then tried several in size large which fit my chest, but were way too long for my short frame and big in the shoulders. The AFRC jacket has a flattering fit and is the perfect length in size medium. The sleeves are a tad long, but overall the fit is great. The jacket is well-made and versatile. I'm very happy with the purchase!
