It fit nicely except the waist was a little big. It was warm enough for the time of year (end of March).

Great quality, jingly zippers By lisamamot from West of Boston, MA on 02/02/2009 Pros: Comfortable, Lightweight, Stylish, Warm Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational Gear Usage: Cold Weather Living, Winter Sports Inseam: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Based on other reviews, I sized-up -- I'm 5'8" and wear an 8 or a 10 (generally an 8 waist, 10 hip)and ordered the 12. The leg is quite loose, the hip fits perfectly and the waist is just a bit large. I might have been able to wear the 10 they just wouldn't have been as comfortable. According to the tags they're supposed to fit quite snugly so if you want them that way then order your regular size. I wore them with cold gear tights underneath in 20 degree weather with a windchill below 0 and my legs were completely comfortable. Only con is the zipper pulls jingle a bit on the zipper. Stylish, warm and at a great price.

By Chicago gal from Chicago, home of the cold, IL on 12/23/2008 Pros: Breathable, Comfortable, Lightweight, Stylish, Warm Best Uses: Backcountry, Downhill, Snowboarding/Skiing Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational Gear Usage: Cold Weather Living, Winter Sports Inseam: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I usually wear a size 6 but I bought a size 8 and they fit great. I can still put a baselayer underneath them if it get ridiculously cold, which it has been in Chicago this winter (-5F!) but for the most part I have been wearing them without long johns underneath and finding that these are fabulous pants even in below freezing weather. I'm impressed. Fleecy interior and gaiters made them great pants to take sledding. Plus the modern cut is very flattering, though I must admit, that because they are not very high waisted, some snow did find its way in when I plowed into some powder while sledding. I love these pants though and am seriously considering a second pair.
