Short but cute
By Acrosscountry from WA on 11/12/2009
Pros:
Breathable, Comfortable, Durable, Layering, Lightweight, Water Resistant
Cons:
Inadequate Protection, Wind gets through
Best Uses:
Wet Weather
Describe Yourself:
Casual Adventurer
Chest Size:
Feels too small
Fit:
Feels true to size
Sleeve Length:
Feels true to length
Bottom Line:
Yes, I would recommend this to a friend
Comments:
It is a bit short in the body and so lets some wind up the back. It's great for rain though, has a great hood and keeps nice and warm (when it's not too windy). Unlike some others, I found it to be a bit tight in the chest. I'm not exactly flat chested, so this may not be a problem for everyone. The cut is super cute and the colors are beautiful. Soft and comfortable, I can layer the small over and under and use out and just around town. I'm happy with it.

Short and boxy
By TheWriter from Chattanooga, TN on 11/04/2009
Describe Yourself:
Casual Adventurer
Chest Size:
Feels too big
Fit:
Feels true to size
Sleeve Length:
Feels true to length
Bottom Line:
No, I would not recommend this to a friend
Comments:
Everyone else said this jacket was too short, but I didn't listen. Perhaps I should have. I love the color and the weight, but it really was too short in the torso. Plus, the chest felt too big, so I felt like overall it just looked kind of boxy.

I will be returning this product. The fit is horrible. It looks stylish on a hanger, but it looks terrible on.

Comments:
I like this, but it's a short jacket. It feels a little small. It being so short makes it not as ideal for cold weather, but if you like the shorter style it's pretty good

Comments:
I got this mostly for rock climbing in cold (but not extreme) weather, but also use it around town. Excellent quality, comfortable, waterproof, windproof, nice color (pine), and easy to pack. Only complaints are that the hand pockets feel a tad too high, and I would like it if the torso were an inch or two longer (though I do have a somewhat long torso).

attractive jacket, but runs small
By kay from san jose, ca on 01/13/2009
Pros:
Breathable, Lightweight, Stylish
Best Uses:
Casual Wear
Describe Yourself:
Casual Adventurer
Chest Size:
Feels true to size
Fit:
Feels too small
Sleeve Length:
Feels true to length
Bottom Line:
No, I would not recommend this to a friend
Comments:
The style is attractive, something akin to a boomer jacket, but I found the fit to be small. The xsmall hit at the top of my hips (I'm 5"1'), so didn't provide the protection I was looking for. Also, the fleece lining is very thin, so wouldn't likely do well in colder weather.

Comments:
LOVE, love , love this jacket! Very cute AND very functional - top quality product even in wind and light rain. However, it is a soft shell, which means it's not intended to keep you warm in really cold, wet or windy weather. Perfect for days in the mid 30s and above with a sweater underneath if you plan to walk about, not stand around idly. Used an old boyfriend's Arcteryx soft shell last year, which has a boxier fit than this very tapered and fitted women's piece, and finally sprung for my own after the break-up. I'm fairly fit and athletic, which means not much bust or it may be a bit tight. Arcteryx makes great, useful, cute gear that's really pricey, but you can feel good about buying it at STP with their great prices [...]

returned item. picture didn't suggest that it was cropped, but it is very short in length. hits at hip but i like jackets longer--at least mid-butt to avoid cold air from sneaking up back of jacket. good looking though, stylish and wonderful color.
