One of Cambio's best styles By Kool Kat from Memphis, TN on 08/25/2009 Pros: Comfortable, Flattering, High Quality, Stylish Describe Yourself: Classic Dresser Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: This is one of Cambio's best styles. I agree with the reviewer who writes that Cambio cuts its waistbands too large for the other overall dimensions of its jeans. However, I perhaps am less curvaceous than she; the difference between my waist and hips is only 8"-9," e.g., a 25 1/2" waist and 34" hips.
In most pants, I wear a Size 2 or a Size 4. Usually I choose a Size 8 (38) in Cambio jeans and have the waistband and the top of the rear end seam taken in by a seamstress. A Size 36(6) in these jeans fits perfectly, and this will be the first pair of Cambio pants I ever have had that required no alternations by a tailor/seamstress.
In my opinion, the fabric is too light weight and too light in color for wear in months other than warm ones.
ur description was misleading By jackieliz from NYC on 07/27/2009 Pros: Flattering, High Quality, Stylish Describe Yourself: Trendy/Stylish Dresser Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Cambio products are excellent but I find
your descriptions of Cambio pants not
accurate at all. For instance, the size
advice is the same for all styles but not
true for all styles. And you fail to describe
that a style may be wider at hips and thighs.
All you give is the cuff opening. Because of
this I had to return several items.
By skibum from Upstate NY on 04/20/2009 Describe Yourself: Casual Dresser Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: I ordered a size up, which wasn't really necessary, but the biggest problem with these pants is that the waist to hip ratio is off. The hips are a little big, but the waist is huge in proportion, and gaps out in the back. I could eat the whole thanksgiving turkey, and still have room!.
I have this problem w/ jeans fairly often, so maybe I'm mis-shapen. But if you have hips that go out and a waist that goes in, these pants might be a problem.
Hint: I bought some "Cruel Girl" jeans from this web site, and they fit absolutely perfectly. Wish they'd had other colors.
great fitting but size up! By LucyWrite1 from Corpus Christi, TX on 03/22/2009 Pros: Comfortable, Flattering, Great Color, High Quality, Stylish, Washes Well Best Uses: Casual Wear, Night Out Describe Yourself: Trendy/Stylish Dresser Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I love Cambio jeans…have four pair and get more. I highly recommend them with one important caveat—size up! Your website recommends going up a size; I go up two. I usually wear a 6, get these in a 10 and wash once in hot water. Bingo, perfect fit!
