Nice shirt...but
By Wendy in Santa FeVerified Reviewer from Santa Fe, NM on 01/21/2009
Pros:
Attractive Design, Comfortable, High Quality, Lightweight
Cons:
Sleeves Too Long
Best Uses:
Casual Wear, Outdoor Activities
Describe Yourself:
Comfort-oriented, High-end shopper, Stylish, Trendy
Sizing:
Feels too small
Bottom Line:
Yes, I would recommend this to a friend
Comments:
I wear a size 8 shirt and average bust size. Usually wear size medium and like brands like Mountain Hardwear and The North Face using a size medium consistently. I ordered both a large and medium. As other reviewer indicated the sleeves are long with a spot for your thumb and falling about half way down your hand. Medium size was too tight on bust but fit everywhere else. Large size fit bust but a bit baggy everywhere else. I kept the large as it will allow me to wear a shirt under and be comfortable. I actually like the long sleeves as I have long arms and to find a long sleeve this long is unusual. I've never used the thumb slot but we shall see. That seems to be a new trend with outdoor tops.

Nice
By MainiacVerified Reviewer from Portland, ME on 09/27/2008
Pros:
Attractive Design, Comfortable, High Quality
Sizing:
Feels too small
Bottom Line:
Yes, I would recommend this to a friend
Comments:
I agree with a previous poster that this shirt runs small, though somehow I guessed that and ordered up. I find that I reach for this shirt all the time on the weekends. The only thing that bugs me about it is that it's too short waisted. (But I am tall.) The fabric is still a bit of a mystery to me... I was expecting the normal "slinky" of performance wear, but it's more the texture of a cotton tshirt.

Very Tight Fitting
By Likes 'em looseVerified Reviewer from WA on 09/22/2008
Pros:
High Quality
Cons:
Sleeves Too Long, Sleeves too tight, Too clingy
Best Uses:
Casual Wear
Describe Yourself:
Comfort-oriented, Conservative, Practical
Sizing:
Feels too small
Bottom Line:
No, I would not recommend this to a friend
Comments:
The fabric is very lightweight and soft, and the shirt appears to be very well made. However, it is styled to be very snug and form-fitting and isn't meant to be worn over the top of another shirt. The sleeves are uncomfortably snug in the upper arms. The styling includes very long sleeves that hang over the hands, with holes for the thumbs to hook into (this not described in the product information, and is a look that I do not like or want to wear). I'm returning this shirt.
