Great fit, treking or dinner out-works By cheetah cub from Florida on 07/28/2009 Pros: Breathable, Comfortable, High-Quality Material and Stitching, Lightweight, Packable Best Uses: Backpacking, Camping, Casual Wear, Hiking, Travel Describe Yourself: Casual Adventurer Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Fit great, but runs small, order a larger size. Long on a 5'2", but easy to hem. Wash and dry in about 3 hours...so great for long trips and few clothes. Comfortable and fashionable for hiking, or dining, particularly the black ones.
By Eighter from Houston on 06/30/2009 Pros: Comfortable, High-Quality Material and Stitching, Lightweight, Packable Best Uses: Backpacking, Camping, Casual Wear, Hiking, Travel Describe Yourself: Avid Adventurer Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Nice pant but the size is off. As with a lot of outdoor clothing, these run small.
Otherwise the weight is nice and I love the flat front.
I'd recommend them to a friend, but tell my friend to buy a size up.
LIghtweight and form-fitting By Daughter Joan from Washington Metro Area on 05/22/2009 Pros: Breathable, Comfortable, High-Quality Material and Stitching, Lightweight, Packable Best Uses: Casual Wear, Travel Describe Yourself: Casual Adventurer Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I will wear these to the office on the hot days we get here. When I ordered, the only available length was long -- 33". There are kick vents on each ankle which pool on the floor around my feet. These slits are about 2.5" deep. You could cut them off entirely if your inseam is 30.5" or shorter.
By travelor from boston, MA on 05/17/2009 Pros: Breathable, Comfortable, High-Quality Material and Stitching, Lightweight, Packable Best Uses: Casual Wear, Hiking, Travel Describe Yourself: Casual Adventurer Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I wanted to use these for travel. The fabric seems perfect- lightweight, dressy, easy to pack. The cut wasn't right for me- pants legs too wide.
By Marie from Danbury, CT on 05/15/2009 Pros: Breathable, Comfortable, High-Quality Material and Stitching, Lightweight, Packable Best Uses: Casual Wear, Travel Describe Yourself: Outdoor Professional Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Comfortable, light, packable and the black color is a really deep black. Ideal for women with long legs and narrow hips. After reading mixed reviews I was not sure they will fit. They do. Thank you, Sierra!
By outdoorfox from Kennett square, PA on 05/04/2009 Pros: Breathable, Comfortable, High-Quality Material and Stitching, Lightweight, Packable Best Uses: Backpacking, Camping, Hiking, Travel Describe Yourself: Avid Adventurer Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: The fabric is very nice and well made. No back pockets but two leg pockets. The fabric is Stretchy and water repellent. As other review mentioned leg is too big but I have a lot of muscle and also need room for move, and it is right. I am 5' 4'' and ordered 6 P as normal.
I am returning because the west is too big like maternity pants and low rise. When I go to remote hiking, I need good coverage not showing my berry.

Not as good as other Ex Officio pants. By Bananas from MA on 02/26/2009 Pros: High-Quality Material and Stitching, Lightweight, Packable Describe Yourself: Outdoor Professional Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: Nice fabric, lightweight, easy care. However, fit is not good -- too big in the waist and too snug at the thighs.
By exercisejunkie from branchville,nj on 02/16/2009 Best Uses: Backpacking, Camping, Casual Wear, Hiking, Travel Describe Yourself: Casual Adventurer Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: I didn't comment on certain particulars because I couldn't get the pants to fit correctly. My size 10 was way too tight. The 12 was way too big. After that I didn't pay attention to the other stuff.
