stylish and good for work By busy mom from San Francisco, CA on 11/02/2009 Pros: Breathable, Comfortable, Durable, Lightweight, Stylish Best Uses: Casual Wear, Travel, Work Describe Yourself: Casual Adventurer Chest Size: Feels true to size Sleeve Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I bought this in blue for travelling, but it is so beautiful that I am wearing it to work. I will not use it for hiking for camping, because it is stylish and appropriate to wear to work as a professional.
Great dressy travel shirt By Bear Peak from Boulder CO on 10/30/2009 Pros: Breathable, Comfortable, Durable, Lightweight, Stylish Best Uses: Casual Wear, Travel, Work Describe Yourself: Avid Adventurer Chest Size: Feels true to size Sleeve Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I ordered a blue one in large and med. I thought the med might be too small for comfort, but it was the perfect fit. I have more muscular, square shoulders where a men's small t-shirt fits well. I'm 5'7" 135# and have long arms. I like being able to stretch my arms out without the whole shirt raising up. I got this shirt for traveling, especially to conferences, where I want to look dressy, be comfortable, and not iron if I can possibly avoid it. This is the same fabric as the the dryflylight hiking shirt (men's small) that I have that I love. This women's shirt has a very nice cut; it comfortably fits my shoulders--I can cross my arms in front or put them out in a T and the shirt does not pull up. It fits my bust (B cup)(I think with a larger cup, you'd want to go up a size), and it is roomy at the waist, which is fine, not too big. I think if it were any more fitted, it wouldn't be as cool in hot weather, also if you had anything (especially a passport) in the hidden pocket, the thing would press against you and show it was there. The way it is, the pocket is pretty concealed and the things in it don't show. The looser waist also means I could wear a tank top underneath or a belt with my pants and not mess up the hang of the shirt. Although it looks fitted when standing still, there is enough fabric in key places to give you good mobility. The blue is fine with just a bra--not see-through. Thankfully the Ex Officio tag is under the back of the collar, on the hang loop, so it is not readily apparent--I really hate the prominent labels on some clothes. The 3/4 length sleeve is very attractive and not too tight--you could fold the little tips over as a cuff to look more dressy or just leave it. This shirt is exactly what I was looking for. And for the many, many times in several years that I've washed my other dryflylight shirt, I know this will hold up as well.
By swampsister from Great green swamp, fl on 10/19/2009 Pros: Breathable, Comfortable, Durable, Lightweight, Stylish Best Uses: Camping, Casual Wear, Hiking, Outdoor Activities, Travel, Work Describe Yourself: Casual Adventurer Chest Size: Feels true to size Sleeve Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Well, I ordered this in a smaller size due to the last ex officio shirt I ordered I had to size down. Big mistake, this shirt is true to size. Other than that would have been a great shirt. So many shirt are so long, this one has a shorter tail it hits just at the hip bone. was a great length. (And I am rather long waisted) Oh, well - thanks for stp's easy returns.
Wonderful travelling shirt By Carol from Erie, PA on 09/13/2009 Pros: Breathable, Comfortable, Durable, Lightweight, Stylish Best Uses: Camping, Casual Wear, Hiking, Outdoor Activities, Travel, Work Describe Yourself: Casual Adventurer Chest Size: Feels true to size Sleeve Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I bought the shirt to wear on a trip to warmer climes, and it was absolutely perfect. I loved it!! No cons that I experienced. Perfect lightweight, and great venting. Get out your credit card and treat yourself. You'll be glad you did. Just don't take the small in the salmon color--I'm on my way to get that myself. :)
Review is for the Shirt in WHITE By Luv 2 B Warm & Comfy from Toluca Lake, CA on 09/10/2009 Pros: Breathable, Comfortable, Lightweight Chest Size: Feels true to size Sleeve Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: This review is for the shirt in color WHITE. I got this shirt in light blossom (pink) and white. I already reviewed the shirt before I tried on the white shirt.
The white shirt is way too sheer. You will have to wear a camisole with it. And even then, your camisole will show through. I DO NOT have this problem with the pink shirt.
I would not recommend getting this shirt in white, unless you want that see through look or plan on wearing it open like a light jacket.
By Luv 2 B Warm & Comfy from Toluca Lake, CA on 09/07/2009 Pros: Breathable, Comfortable, Durable, Lightweight Best Uses: Casual Wear, Travel, Work Chest Size: Feels true to size Sleeve Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: This is a nice simple shirt. I like the little hidden side zipper pocket. It's also very comfortable. The only thing that I think would make it better is if it was a little more tailored in the bodice.
I really like how the top button is a button and the rest are all snaps hidden under the panel.
By JeanneMo from Forestville , CA on 08/21/2009 Pros: Breathable, Comfortable, Lightweight, Stylish Best Uses: Casual Wear, Hiking, Outdoor Activities, Travel, Work Describe Yourself: Casual Adventurer Chest Size: Feels true to size Sleeve Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: The blossom color is more of a very dusky/dusty pink. Pretty color but perhaps not for everyone. I have several of this type of shirt and I must say, the texture of the fabric in this is the most pleasant one. It feels cotton like rather than that cloying polyester or nylon feel. It is a very trim style, fitted rather than over-sized and blousy. As such, I think I will be likely to wear it in many more situations.

Very stylish and comfortable. Wish it came in more color choices.
Awesome shirt for hot weather travel By KAPShopper ATL from Atlanta on 06/10/2009 Pros: Breathable, Comfortable, Durable, Lightweight, Stylish Best Uses: Casual Wear, Hiking, Outdoor Activities, Travel Describe Yourself: Casual Adventurer Chest Size: Feels true to size Sleeve Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: This shirt is not only lightweight & breathable, but it LOOKS good, too. It is well tailored, with shaping seams, and fits more like a dressier business blouse than an "outdoor adventure" shirt. It has little snaps instead of buttons. I like to have light layers for hot weather travel, but I do not like to feel like I am bundled and constrained. Good buy.
By Deb from Austin, Tx on 06/06/2009 Pros: Breathable, Comfortable, Lightweight, Stylish Describe Yourself: Casual Adventurer Chest Size: Feels true to size Sleeve Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I like the light weight fabric, it is hot in Texas! It is thin, so you will need to wear some type of camisole with it.
