Great Fishing or Travel Shirt By M in MT from Bozeman, MT on 12/23/2008 Pros: Breathable, Dries REALLY fast, Lightweight, Stylish, Washes Easily Best Uses: Casual Wear, fishing, Outdoor Activities, Travel Describe Yourself: Outdoor Professional Chest Size: Feels true to size Sleeve Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I bought a couple of these shirts for fishing and travel, and could not be happier. They look good, and the pockets are subtle, but substantial. My only previous gripe with ExOfficio shirts was that the chest pockets tended to hang off the front of the shirt when filled. The pockets on this shirt are designed differently, and I expect will perform much better. Also, since the mesh venting on the back yoke is higher up and not as noticable as on some other ExO shirt designs, I think this one will make the transition to casual wear a little better. The button-up tabs on the sleeves make this a good shirt for fly-fishing, as the rolled up sleeves won't be constantly unrolling.

My husband really likes this shirt By Valerie from Phoenix, AZ on 11/07/2008 Pros: Breathable, Comfortable, Durable, Lightweight, Stylish Best Uses: At the beach, Biking, Casual Wear Describe Yourself: Casual Adventurer Chest Size: Feels true to size Sleeve Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: My husband needed a shirt that would block the sun so I ordered this one. He wore it during our 4 day trip to Rocky Point, Mexico. He loved it. It not only blocked the sun but allowed air to circulate so he didn't feel so hot. I borrowed it when I was out floating in the water and it kept me from getting burned. I rinsed it out in a sink after using it in the ocean and it dried quickly and didn't wrinkle. I have since bought him two more of these shirts. He is now wearing them to work. He likes them because they are a lighter weight than a polo shirt and they keep him cooler.
By Brimstone from Colorado Springs CO on 08/08/2008 Pros: Breathable, Lightweight, Stylish, Washes Easily Best Uses: Backpacking, Camping, Casual Wear, Hiking, Travel Describe Yourself: Avid Adventurer Chest Size: Feels true to size Sleeve Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Wow, great shirts, I bought 3. Wonderful Exofficio Dryflylite fabric, very breathable and a soft hand, silk-like. Not quite so stiff as older EO Drylite fabric (which I also like). Toned-down on the techy/campy features; no side-mesh vents or double-stacked chest pockets. Chest pockets zip and are covered with a discreet flat-lying flap. Mesh vented yoke which slightly prints through on the lighter colors. Fit is correct with long tails but not so long as other EO shirts which usually come to mid-thigh on me. Sleeves roll up and fasten at the elbow. Sleeves and chest are a good fit on me (XL shirt on a sz 48 chest)- not tremendously baggy like EO Air Strip shirt sleeves. Oyster color is a very lite blue-green, almost white. Bone color is a very light tan with a bit of yellow tint. Interesting front button detail, buttons are not individually stiched but threaded through a 1/4" strip of fabric which runs the length of the placket. Looks stronger than thread but can't see how to replace one if it breaks.
