It stops cold and wind from penetrating the skin, but is also very breathable. It's longer than average so it can be tucked in for extra warmth around the lower torso. It washes well and doesn't hold odor like cotton or polyester. The 2 I ordered will be added to my collection, but I prefer them plain instead of with the embroidery.

It definitely feels snug, and since I am petite in size it is a little too long; but nonetheless, just what I was looking for. It keeps me warm during casual layering or under lighter weight dresses and suits. I use it all year round, when heat is not enough, or A/C is too low. Perfect! I ordered one for each of my adult daughters, too. They love it! Highly recommended.

I purchased a size small (I wear a 6), but it was very snug, especially around the armholes. Also, it it cut long, which is great if you are tall or long waisted. Will look forward to having this in the next size up - it's a great looking camisole!
