Perfect for those cold ski days By Ski gal from California on 02/09/2009 Pros: Comfortable, Lightweight, Moisture Wicking, Soft, Warm Describe Yourself: Frequent Exerciser Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: They run a little big - I am usually a large and I ordered a medium and they fit perfectly. I like them to be snug against my legs though - more along the lines of tights (but not that tight) than pants if you get my meaning.

They live up to their claims. I have taken to wearing them instead of pajama bottoms in the winter since they are so warm and lightweight.

They keep me warm without much weight and are absorbent, too. I have several other brands of wool bottoms, but these are my favorite.
By Meg the skier from Colorado on 01/21/2009 Pros: Comfortable, Lightweight, Soft, Warm Best Uses: Cold Weather, Everyday Wear Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: These longjohns are the most luxurious I own! It's good to know that the Germans can still make quality goods.

Medima Lightweight bottoms By Always cold! from Northern VA on 01/13/2009 Pros: Comfortable, Lightweight, Moisture Wicking, Snug Fit, Warm Best Uses: Cold Weather, Everyday Wear, Running, Snow Sports Describe Yourself: Frequent Exerciser Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Lightweight, but warm; and not a bit scratchy. Perfect under jeans for everyday or under snowpants when skiing or snow tubing. I have been looking for something warmer than the silk long johns I have been using for years; these definitely fill the bill. Now I can turn the house temp. down during the day, too, and still be warm. Perfect with the Medima vest or long-sleeved top.

By Ranger Girl from Southern Utah on 01/04/2009 Pros: Comfortable, Lightweight, Long waisted, Moisture Wicking, Nice long legs, Soft, Warm Best Uses: Cold Weather, Everyday Wear, Layering varied activity, Running, Snow Sports Describe Yourself: Frequent Exerciser Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: These lightweight tights are very comfortable to layer and stretch with all kinds of movement. They fit all the way to the waist, have a long rise and the legs go all the way to the ankles. Since I am 6' tall it is very difficult to find such a fine fit. These are lovely!
By Michelle from Boston, MA on 12/15/2008 Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: These long underwear are warm an soft. They do run a little big, which is fine under snowboarding pants but not so fine under jeans or cords. They also are ridiculously high waisted. I feel like they go all the way up to my breast bone.
If you need them for skiing, I would go for it.
