By RICK THE SQUASH PLAYER from CALGARY CANADA on 10/27/2009 Pros: Good Grip, Snug Fit, Warm, Windproof Best Uses: Backcountry, Working Outdoors Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational Sizing: Feels true to size Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: THESE ARE VERY WARM. A LITTLE TOO BULKY TO HANDLE A RETRACTABLE DOG LEASH. BUT GREAT FOR VERY COLD WEATHER IF YOU PLAN TO BE OUTSIDE A LOT. I HAVE SHORT FINGERS FOR A MAN AND I FIND THE LADIES TO BE A BETTER FIT FOR ME
By D from Maryland on 03/16/2009 Pros: Durable, Good Grip, Snug Fit, Stylish, Warm, Windproof Best Uses: Backcountry, Casual Wear, Hiking/Running Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational Gear Usage: Cold Weather Living, I have raynauds Sizing: Feels true to size Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: diagnosed with raynauds this year and these gloves have been exceptional. I really like the fact that you get two pairs for the price of one. The inner gloves are great for cold, dry weather. The outer gloves are slightly bulky, but they do their job and keep my hands warm:)

By cold hands from Wayzata MN on 03/10/2009 Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational Gear Usage: Cold Weather Living, Winter Sports Sizing: Feels true to size Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: I returned these because the back of the hand is real sheepskin on the outside. I bought them to shovel and possibly use downhill skiing, but the design is a bit weird in my mitten world with the sheepskin fleece on the outside of the hand....the inside is polar fleece...
By Okie from Glastonbury, CT on 02/21/2009 Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational Sizing: Feels true to size Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I know these aren't meant for skiing, but my fingers always get cold and painful and these mittens kept my fingers toasty warm and brought the fun back into skiing the whole day!
Love them!
By notawimp from Ski Country Colorado. on 02/18/2009 Pros: Comfortable, Durable, Warm, Water Resistant, Windproof Best Uses: Backcountry, Working Outdoors Describe Yourself: Competitive Athlete Gear Usage: Cold Weather Living, Winter Sports Sizing: Feels true to size Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: These gloves are nice and warm. I loved them. They were a little bulky for holding ski poles but got broken in a little as the day passed. At first I was worried I'd drop them off the lift but I got used to the bulk. I noticed that the mitten part should have continued a little farther up toward the wrist. The gauntlet started a little too soon. I could feel a bit of breeze on my wrists.

These Are Miracle Mittens! By Ally ( outdoor enthusiast ) from Michigan's Upper Peninsula on 02/10/2009 Pros: Durable, Warm, Water Resistant, Windproof Best Uses: Backcountry, Casual Wear, Hiking/Running Describe Yourself: Advanced Gear Usage: Cold Weather Living, Winter Sports Sizing: Feels true to size Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Based on the reviews, I ordered a pair because I have arthritic fingers that are always cold and painful when the weather is 32F and below. I have used Reusch Racing Mittens, mitts with pockets for hand heater packs, and everything imaginable. There is nothing like these for warmth. I actually had to slip my hands out of them on the way up the lift to cool off my hands. I had to ditch my poles and ski without them because I could not grasp them well enough, but the alternative was to take 7 runs in zero degree weather and go in the lodge to warm up. I skied for 1 1/2 hours and my fingers were toasty. I used them when snowshoeing and walking and needed to slip them off to cool off my hands as well. I ordered a size medium because other reviewers said they run small. I wish I had ordered a small since that is what I normally wear. I think the sizing is correct. I am thrilled with the quality and expect many years of use out of them!
By Cindy from Milwaukee, Wisconsin on 02/04/2009 Pros: Comfortable, Durable, Snug Fit, Warm, Water Resistant, Windproof Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational Gear Usage: Cold Weather Living, Winter Sports Sizing: Feels true to size Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: These are great mittens! They're so warm and a bit bulky, so the one drawback, if it is one, is you don't get a lot of dexterity with them, but they'll keep you warm and dry!
