By Cherie from Colorado on 09/23/2009 Pros: Good Grip, Warm, Windproof Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational Sizing: Feels true to size Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: My fingers get cold skiing. I haven't tested these mittens yet, but they feel as if they will keep my fingers warm.
I really like the softness of the leather. It will make gripping my poles easier.
By Snowgirl from Portland, Maine on 09/03/2009 Pros: Comfortable, Durable, Good Grip, Snug Fit, Warm, Water Resistant, Windproof Best Uses: Dog walking, Downhill skiing Describe Yourself: Advanced Gear Usage: Cold Weather Living, Winter Sports Sizing: Feels true to size Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: My hands get cold very easily and these mittens are the second pair I have purchased. I love them. They are very warm, but not too bulky. I can still manage to do things with my hands while I am wearing the mittens. They are also very resilient in wet weather. My dog carried one of the mittens I bought last year outside where it spent at least two months buried in the snow. After I found it, I brought it inside, dried it off and it was almost as good as new.
By Patio from Conner, MT on 03/25/2009 Pros: Comfortable, Durable, Warm, Windproof Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational Sizing: Feels true to size Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I had these SAME mittens for 15 years - and only this year did they get destroyed by our "lovely" new dog. I thought I would never be able to find the same product - but STP had them!! I wear liner gloves underneath when I ski, and my hands (which get cold easily) stay warm. The BEST part was they cost me almost $100 less than when I first bought them. Yippee!!

More difficult to pull on than gloves but much warmer.
"Not all they are cracked up to be" By Mother Nature from Rapid City, SD on 02/09/2009 Pros: Durable, Warm, Water Resistant, Windproof Cons: Hard to get thumb in hole, Thumb feels too narrow Best Uses: Casual Wear, Skiing Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational Gear Usage: Cold Weather Living, Winter Sports Sizing: Feels true to size Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I purchased these to replace the ones I've had for the past 5 years and truly love.
I use them when I down hill ski and on walks. They are great gloves to keep you warm and comfy but these new ones don't quite measure up to my previous pair. I am hoping they relax allot in the thumb region because right now they are not really great for dexterity.
By CC from Michigan on 02/05/2009 Pros: Comfortable, Durable, Good Grip, Snug Fit, Warm, Windproof Describe Yourself: Competitive Athlete Sizing: Feels true to size Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Great product. I have had a 2 pair of my own for several years and just bought them for my 12 year old twin daughters.
By Eskimo Vet from Fort Collins, CO on 02/05/2009 Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational Sizing: Feels true to size Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I confess that I had pre-shopped in person various mittens. I have poor circulation to my hands and they tend to get really cold when skiing and snowshoeing. I haven't worn them skiing yet but to play in the snow around the house, they seem awesome. Very warm yet not too bulky and awkward. So far, no regrets.
By trailrunner from New York on 02/04/2009 Pros: Durable, Good Grip, Warm, Windproof Cons: Not True to Size, Poor Fit, Too Bulky Best Uses: Crosscountry skiing Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational Gear Usage: Cold Weather Living, Winter Sports Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: The mittens run small. I returned the first pair for size medium but was sent a large. Decided to keep them since I didn't want the hastle of returning them again.
