By Notawimp from Ski country Colorado on 02/18/2009 Pros: Comfortable, Durable, Good Grip, Stylish Best Uses: Backcountry, Cold Weather Describe Yourself: Competitive Athlete Gear Usage: Cold Weather Living, Winter Sports Sizing: Feels true to size Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: These gloves are really nice but I was disappointed with the warmth factor. My daughter also used them and she agreed. I was skiing in Colorado and it wasn't super cold but the mittens did not keep my hands warm enough. They are very comfortable and nice looking but I don't think I'd buy again for skiing. I also purchased the Grandoe Himalayan gloves. They were much warmer but also very bulky.
I usually wear a women's medium and the men's small fit perfect.

My friend has a pair of beautiful warm leather/down mittens she's had for 30-years, that beat the pants off of 'high-tech' gloves today as far as warmth. This Grandoe glove is the closest we can come to it.

By Heather from MN on 12/24/2008 Pros: Durable, Good Grip, Snug Fit, Warm, Water Resistant, Windproof Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational Gear Usage: Cold Weather Living Sizing: Feels true to size Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I live in Minnesota, and we've had a cold winter so far. Any pair of gloves I have ever owned, my fingers start to get numb when it's cold. My hands have gotten slightly cold in these when it's around 0 F, but that's better than any other dressy mittens I've tried. They're a bit bulky for driving, but I still wear them anyway.
