Good value for a recreational snow shoe By Tree Farmer from Cary, Ill on 01/11/2009 Pros: Attach Securely, Easy Entry & Exit, Good Traction, Stable Cons: Limited size adjustment Best Uses: Flat Terrain, Off Trail, Rolling Terrain Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational Sizing: Feels true to size Width: Feels true to width Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I have been out 3 times on them in 10" of snow, through woods and brush and up and down moderate hills (8-10 miles) Found good traction so far, but intend to take them to steeper terrain next weekend for more extensive use. The bindings barely make it around the heel of my size 15 hunting boot, but didn't work at all on a pair of Redwing leather boots I had planned on using.
I intend to use them for hunting in deep snow and winter hiking in the hills of southwestern Wisconsin.
