By HillCountryRider from Boerne, TX on 09/12/2009 Pros: Breathable, Dries Quickly, Lightweight Describe Yourself: Avid Cyclist Sizing: Feels full size too small Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I don't understand the negative reviews. This is one of my favorite jerseys. I've worn it maybe 20 times and it's held up perfectly. It's super tight, unbelievably light, breathes great, and the fit is like wearing a second skin. I am 5'9" and weigh 150# so I am on the slim side and I prefer a "pro" fit. Normally I wear a medium in Castelli but had to go all the way to an extra large in this one and it still fits tight. But it's just a great jersey and at this price it's a smokin' deal. This is a performance jersey, no doubt, but for when it's hot and you want something that's light and cool, this is it.
By none from Chapel hill NC on 09/10/2009 Cons: Not an every ride jersey Best Uses: Time trialfast rides Describe Yourself: Competitive Cyclist Sizing: Feels true to size Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Many comments lament the snug fit of this jersey; well it is designed for time trials, and is more akin to a skin suit -- so it is supposed to be tight. I ordered one size larger and it fits great, can't wait to PR at the next time trial in it.
By Big Tex from Houston, TX on 08/08/2009 Pros: Breathable, Good Pockets and Features, Lightweight Describe Yourself: Avid Cyclist Sizing: Feels full size too small Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: This is a nice jersey but someone really messed up the labels. I bought an XL and it looks like a small. I got it over my head but could not zip it up. For fun I had my wife try it on. She wears a ladies small. It did not even fit her.
The jersey is nice but with the sizing issue I cannot recommend it.
By bkamt from del mar, ca on 07/25/2009 Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational Sizing: Feels full size too small Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Usually order medium in European sizes (I am fit, 5'6", 148#). Needed large because of tight fit. The jersey is short and barely covered bibs in front. Needed large!
By biggwater from Sacramento on 07/25/2009 Describe Yourself: Avid Cyclist Sizing: Feels full size too small Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I own many Castelli products including jerseys. This XXL was two sizes small than my usual XL. You must be very slim (<150lbs) to wear this size
By Ronboni from Western MA on 03/25/2009 Cons: Very Tight better be fit Describe Yourself: Avid Cyclist Sizing: Feels full size too small Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: Shirt was the tightest large cycling jersey that I have every tried on. The fabric is intended to be very snug, but it does not feel like it would be very durable. I would be concerned that it would hook and run very easily.
By Koyote from The Great Plains on 12/04/2008 Cons: Poor Fit, Wears Out Quickly Describe Yourself: Competitive Cyclist Sizing: Feels full size too small Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: Extremely snug fit, so very aerodynamic, but so snug as to be uncomfortable even in my correct size. Too light to last very long -- mine was already torn (on seam along zipper) when it came out of the package, brand new. I returned it.
By Madone the cyclist from Puerto Rico, USA on 11/12/2008 Describe Yourself: Competitive Cyclist Sizing: Feels full size too small Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: I was not able to try it because it came in a size (2XL) that was too small for the description. I believe it was a size mishap.
