I'll wear for work and on hot/sunny days when I need some coverage from the sun without overheating. In contrast to Columbia's more constructed button-down shirts, this shirt does not run small across the bust. I'm a small 34B and the size small doesn't pull, gape, or constrict.

The wrinkly look is great for travel. It is a light fabric so you may want a baselayer, ie. camisole under it. I am short and usually wear a medium top. The medium fits well on me. That means it clears my hips because of the styling. With a short torso I usually have trouble with fitted shirts but not this time. Not sure where it would end up if you have a long torso. Average size women shouldn't have a problem.

It felt like the fabric was stiff. I was expecting a more feminine, breezy feeling shirt and what I received was stiff. It looked more like a uniform than a nice shirt.
