By willing to try from Oakland, CA on 07/20/2009 Pros: Attractive Design, Comfortable, Flattering, Versatile Best Uses: Casual Wear, Swimsuit Cover-up Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Brilliant! The removability of the skirt portion was just what I wanted in a skort but didn't realize it. This may now be the most versatile piece of summer clothing I own. It can just as easily be worn at the beach as at the company picnic.
nice product, mine was too big By sportsgirl from Utah on 07/13/2009 Pros: Attractive Design, Flattering, Nice Fabric, Versatile Best Uses: Beach and swimming Describe Yourself: Casual Dresser Comfort vs Style: Comfort Driven Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: All the reviews said it ran small in the waist so I ordered the larger size and its too big. I'm exchanging for smaller so we'll see. I didn't really like the gardenia color because it's not pink and its not red so it doesn't really go with other things I have.

I like that the skirt is detachable and you can even swim in the shorts if you want. These would be great for kayaking/canoeing.

By shetrekker from alaska on 06/26/2009 Pros: Attractive Design, Comfortable, Flattering, Nice Color, Nice Fabric, Versatile Best Uses: Casual Wear, Night Out, Outdoor activities Describe Yourself: Casual Dresser Comfort vs Style: Comfort Driven Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: This combination is fabulous! I wasn't sure what I'd be getting since the images online don't show you what the short's color will be. I ordered black, and the shorts were a nice black/white/gray pattern that looked kind of pebbly, not too flowery or loud.
Both the shorts and the skirt have a flattering, comfortable fit and button together easily. I wear the shorts while I am in my kayak/canoe then throw the skirt on top around camp. I great alternative to shorts or pants alone!
The skirt does have a seam in the fabric of the shorts (the pattern) that starts at the waist and wraps down and around the side of the skirt. It is a nice detail, but in the picture it is hard to tell it is there. The skirt is not one solid color because of this.

By ra from clayton nc on 02/25/2009 Cons: Poor Fit, Thin Fabric Describe Yourself: Classic Dresser Comfort vs Style: Comfort Driven Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: I was not anything I could use
By Traveling Fool from Colorado on 01/05/2009 Pros: Attractive Design, High Quality, Nice Fabric, Versatile, Wrinkle Resistant Describe Yourself: Casual Dresser Comfort vs Style: Comfort Driven Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: This is a really great idea, with the ability to use the skirt and short together or not. Seems as thought you could bundle up in a ball then unpack, and would still come out looking great. Even though a little small in the waist, it looks pretty good, and can still wear until I drop a couple of pounds.
